I found a very interesting article from Knoxville.com about the New Moon premiere location. According to the article, the premiere is set to take place at Regal Cinemas’ Pinnacle 18 at Turkey Creek, TN, as a charity event, which is awesome. This just proves how wonderful the entire Twilight Saga cast and crew are–they are always thinking of others. You can read the article in its entirety here. The Movie Fanatic (TMF) recently conducted a survey regarding Rob and his budding career. This gave fans a chance to express their thoughts on past and current projects Rob is working on. The results were very thoughtful and provided a lot of insight.

We have a few shots from today’s filming of Remember Me. Poor Rob isn’t smiling as much today as he has been over the past week. Maybe the pressures of all the filming out in the open, Not to mention the New York heat is taking its toll. Let’s hope that we will see that glowing smile back on his face in the next few days. There has been news of a Robert Pattinson documentary in the making that are urging fans, acquaintances, and friends to participate in sending them fan stories, photos, mementos, memorabilia and the like.

As we at Pattinson Online are always concerned about intruding into Rob’s life, we decided to do some homework and have spoken with Rob’s management who state that this documentary is being done without their cooperation and Rob will not be interviewed in the TV program.

We want our fans to be informed and we want to protect Rob (as much as possible) from even more invasion into his personal life. If you are presented with the opportunity to assist in this project, the decision is, of course, entirely up to you, but we thought we would share this information so that you can have all the facts. We love our fans! :)

We’ve all read the book and are quite aware Edward is absent for the majority of the second part of the story, New Moon. And though we’re pleased to get more of Taylor and his hunky cast of La Push friends in the next Twilight installment, none of us is ready to spend as much time away from Edward as Bella must. Home Media Magazine is reporting that The Haunted Airman DVD will be released in the US on October 13, 2009. We don’t have a preorder link yet, but as soon as one pops up, we’ll let you know!

Twilight’s Robert Pattinson stars in the horror/thriller film The Haunted Airman, out on DVD Oct. 13 (prebook Sept. 15) from E1 Entertainment at $24.98.

Pattinson plays flight lieutenant Jugg, who is wounded in action and suffers haunting nightmares and visions while in recovery. Jugg suspects the methods of his psychiatrist, played by Julian Sands.

The film is based on the novel The Haunting of Toby Jugg, by Dennis Wheatley.

Amazon.co.uk is now listing the DVD release date for Little Ashes as July 13, 2009 – a month earlier than expected! Preorder your copy here!

ComingSoon.net is reporting that filming for Eclipse will start in August 2009.

Summit Entertainment will film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse from August 17th until October 31st at Vancouver Film Studios. David Slade (30 Days of Night) will direct from a script by Melissa Rosenberg.

The last few days we have seen a literal storm of behind the scenes photos from New York filming with Rob for his new movie Remember Me. Filming has taken place in various locations, the most recent being in and around Central Park and the Alice in Wonderland statue. These photos have brought us some of the most amazingly gorgeous shots yet of Rob and the beautiful scenery New York has to offer. I have uploaded many pictures, but I have barely made a dent in the number of photos available. We know we love Rob and he is a great guy, but we received further concrete evidence of his kindness and appreciation for his fans today in the form of a glowing letter from a fan, Shraddha Gurung, who wrote to Rob months ago. Well, she received a great reward for her patience and dedication when she received in the mail a personalized autographed photo from Rob himself! I have included the letter below and you can view her autographed photo here.

Dear Pattinson Online team,

I had a really long day at work and was absolutely shattered. As soon as I got home I checked if I had received any letters and when I saw a hand addressed brown envelope on top the ironing board with my first name on it I was really surprised. I hastily opened it. It was so thin that anyone could have mistaken it as a blank envelope. Anyways, I opened it and found to my utter surprise a personalised autograph from Robert Pattinson! I was so shocked, happy and excited all at the same time. I literally started jumping around and told my mum about it. She said its probably the same autograph celebrities send to their fans. But its not! Its a personalised one! Rob totally made my day! I just couldn’t believe and I still can’t!

I sent him a letter right after the UK Twilight Premiere and wrote him how I was lucky enough to win a pair of tickets and was standing right behind him while he was doing an interview. Unfortunately, I was ushered by the security and couldn’t meet him at all. I also told him that I was the crazy fan who yelled “Love you Robert” when he came to our screen and wrote about me and my friends journey to Leicester Square and how we had to run across London streets wearing a dress and high heels in ice cold wind. Along with the letter as it was Christmas time, I also sent me Van Morrison’s CD that had all his hit and a card.

I waited for his reply for months but it was worth it. Its really amazing how Rob takes time out from his busy schedule and replies to fans personally and I love him for that! This clearly shows his love towards his fanbase. Thank you so much Rob!

I just wanted to share this with you guys. Thank you for providing updates on Rob and his career!

Found this gorgeous scan of Rob from the magazine Heat. They named Rob “Sexiest Man on the Planet 2009″, and his quote is priceless. “I certainly don’t feel like a sex symbol or anything. I never bargained for girls screaming at me on the street!” Poor Rob, he handles everything with the true grace of an English gentlemen, which is why we love him so much. RadarOnline got an interview with the producers of the Twilight saga, Wyck Godfrey and Greg Mooradian, at the Vision Awards.

Godfrey admitted that things were crazy while filming New Moon with Rob Pattinson in Italy, saying “We tried to keep him from getting torn limb from limb.”

Attention New Moon fans! Last week we posted the movie tie-in cover for the trade edition of the book with a free New Moon poster to be published in the fall. The approximate date for publication of this book is set for September 15th.
In addition to the trade edition, we now have a new cover for New Moon with a cover very similar to the movie poster. This mass market edition will be available in November. The links above will take you to photos of the covers in our gallery. Although it’s hard to choose a favorite, the Edward in the new one absolutely heartbreaking.

The editors of Us Weekly are releasing a limited edition magazine on June 26th called The Sexy Stars of Twilight. According to the UK’s Heat Magazine, Robert Pattinson has been voted the sexiest man on the planet–again! Does it really come as a surpirse that Rob has been recognized as the sexiest/hottest/most handsome/most gorgeous man on the planet? Rob, originally from Barnes, London, was chosen by readers of Heat magazine, beating such Hollywood big names as Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and Zac Efron to the title.

The magazine’s editor Julian Linley comments that the the actor “is obviously very easy on the eye, but a lot of his popularity has to be down to the character Edward he plays in Twilight – strong, brooding and tortured, basically most women’s fantasy boyfriend”.

Robert, 23, is currently in the New York, filming the movie, Remember Me and he has recently wrapped the filming of New Moon, the sequel to vampire flick Twilight. The movie will also see Kristen Stewart back as Bella.

Little, Brown has revealed their cover for the movie tie-in edition of New Moon which features an exclusive image from the Twilight franchise’s second film. Taylor Lautner fans should be really happy, while Robert/Edward fans are fairly well represented with a somber and soulful Edward gazing down upon Bella and Jacob from the ghostly moon. This is reminiscent of the way Edward will be portrayed in the movie–sort of a spiritual/ghostly figure watching over Bella. You can see the beautiful book cover art for New Moon here. The new book will also contain a free poster.
