Do the actors for the Twilight movie look like you imagined them?
I am really excited about I would say 95% of the actors which I think is a really good margin. Particularly I think they did a great job with Edward and that is the most important. It could’ve been a really bad thing but I had a chance to me Robert Pattinson and actually have a really involved conversation with him about how depressed Edward was in Twilight. And I have to tell you, I know there is a lot of people who didn’t like him right away and there is some who are still holding out for some other actors… uhm… I gotta say I’m not getting this whole Gaspard Ulliel thing, I’m sorry. But, uhm, when I got the chance to talk to him we were having lunch and we could see him walking up the road and his hair was already dyed red and he had that long black coat and you could see the people on the street kinda stopping and looking at him and thinking… and it wasn’t like “who is that?” it was more like “What is that?” *Stephenie says that in a really mesmerized tone* He doesn’t even really look cute. I mean, he looked more like an Angel than a person. And he got such an interesting face and you sit there and talk to him you hardly know what to say. He would say “Why are Carlisle and Edward so close, they aren’t even real family” and I was looking at him saying “what is… what was that again?” *Stephenie does that in a really dreamy expression, kind of swooning* I think that he’s going to be amazing and that the actress who is playing Bella, uhm, you should’ve seen her when we were all together, she was over there and was like *Stephenie shows the way Kristen adored/drooled over Robert* He is perfect, really, you don’t have to need to worry.

Another fan from Twilight Moms recently visited the set of Twilight and had some snippets to share:
I got news for you!!!! They aren’t that great, but just a little something to fill you guys in. OK.. So my friend Courtney, she went to Portland to visit her parents this past weekend and she just got back today. So, while she was on her way back to Seattle today, she had to take a detour to run some errands, and while she was on her way, she told me that there was this huge fuzz going on, there were a lot of cars, a lot of security everywhere etc. etc. So she was like ‘What’s going on?’ so she decides to ask the police officer, and he told her that there was the production of a movie called Twilight. So, she knows I am a big fan, she got all excited, and asked him if they started to film it already, and the police officer told her, ‘Apparently, they are starting to film right now.’ So then he tells her that he couldn’t give any more info. at the moment and asked her to leave, so she decides to go around the area slowly, just to check it out, and she told me that she saw Kirsten and Robert TOGETHER, she couldn’t tell if they were filming or not, she thought it looked more like ‘normal talking’ and that Robert was looking absolutely gorgeous, and that he and Kirsten looked GREAT together! So, right after that she left because she didn’t want to get in trouble, since the police officer had already asked her to leave. I asked her if she took any pictures, but she told me she didn’t since she didn’t have her camera with her nor her cellphone with her.

Extras Only is looking for the following to be PHOTO DOUBLES in the feature film “Twilight”.
Pitcher – Female Caucasian 5′5″ (needs to be able to throw overhand)
Batter – Female Caucasian 5′6″ (needs to be able to hit ball and slide into base)
Catcher – Female Caucasian 5′4″
The shoot will be in the Portland area March 3-6. You need to be TOTALLY AVAILABLE ALL OF THE DAYS and the pay is $150/day (overtime after 10hrs).

Twilight author Stephenie Meyer recently visited the film set and posted a little snippet on her website, as well as a picture of herself with Rob and Kristen.
Hey guys, I thought you might enjoy a couple of pictures from my weekend on the set of Twilight the movie. It was an amazing time; I had the chance to visit some of the film sites (Oregon is gorgeous!), go through the story boards (if just scanning through the sketches is so exciting, I can only imagine how much more thrilling the live action will be), watch some brief videos of stunt work (ouch! but so cool), and even catch a little bit of a vampire baseball game (look out—James is a ringer). My favorite part was dinner with some of the cast and crew. You don’t know surreal until you sit down at a table with people out of your imagination. It was more than a little bit disturbing how pretty everyone was, and who knew movie stars were so nice? Anyway, if you ever get a chance to visit the set of a movie based on a book you wrote, I definitely recommend that you go for it.
