It’s been a while, but we’ve finally put up our new Featureds! Our new site of the month the amazing Everglow, a website dedicated to the relationship between Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. We have also chosen a new picture of the month which happens to be this set photograph of Rob. =)
Kiki over at Kellmett Happens has posted a detailed report of her time as an extra on the Twilight set. Here is a snippet:
Today we worked on a few different cafeteria scenes, but there was mainly one long one. First we shot the Forks table, and all of the other kids are trying to convince Bella to go to La Push with them that weekend. This is a big Eric scene. Then, Bella is in the salad bar line when Edward comes up and they talk about her theories and why she should stay away from him. She then invites him to La Push with the other kids, but he looks at Mike and says something about how it would be too crowded. Also, there is a rather awesome, smooth Edward moment concerning an apple and a fishing rod, but I won’t give too much away because it’s going to look great on the big screen.
You can read the full report here. Kiki will also be posting a report of the prom scene, so look forward to that!
One of the Twilight Moms’ son has recently met Rob on set! You can read of his full experience here on the Twilight Moms forum (which includes an autograph the son got for his mom).
Also I found this little adorable and funny tidbit on lion_lamb:
From Twilight Moms:
My source gave me a piece of very delicious adorable information, about a very funny incident on set!.. Heres was my source had to say:
Rob is supposed to be quite athletic, right? Okay, well, he is. We were rehearsing a scene where he’s running and there was this cord that was lying in the middle of the road. Now, remember, Rob is very agile and he’s definitely /not/ clumsy, but he tripped over this cord and stumbled. We all laughed and he had to start the run again. The next time, he stumbled over something else (a crick?) and we had to redo it /again/. The third time, this girl, Lisa, who works with stage directions was yelling,
“Go left, Rob! Left! Left!”
He went right and then he stopped, looked back at us, and said,
Mae, a fan who was recently on the set of Twilight, was able to briefly meet Robert and have photos taken with him. Another fan has captured the moment for her. Take a look:
Also, again thanks to the Twilight Lexicon, we have another fans story about seeing Rob on set. She says:
I was fortunate enough today to see him in person, up close. My friend and I went to Kalama hoping to see any of the cast during filming today. We got to the school early this morning and were told they were doing indoor filming all day today. We were naturally disappointed but decided to stick around for a while. We were given permission by the school to see if we could find anything fun happening outside. For three hours we sat outside, in the cold and damp, watching endless take after take of some of the kids being used as extras and their coming and goings outside the school. I was getting bored and wanted to leave but my friend insisted on waiting a while longer.
In the meantime another group of fans showed up….a couple moms and their daughters and friends. We were talking to them when my friend pointed out a young man walking away from us. It was Robert!!!! He was taking a break from the filming of something they were taping in the weight room…possibly the hospital scenes. At least that’s what we were told.
After a few minutes he came back up towards us and the other group with us asked him if they could take his picture. He was shy, sweet, adorable and most accommodating to them. My friend and I were about 10 feet away, trying not to crowd him. He is absolutely gorgeous ladies!!! He spoke to them, in an American accent, for a few minutes and then went back to where he was filming.
I have to say it was more exciting to see him then I expected. I have a son older than he is, but when he walked past us I sighed like all of you young ladies would have. For all of you who doubted if he was right for this part, I have to say that without a doubt he’s going to be magnificent. He was such a gentlemen to the young girls around him. His mom would have been proud. I have pictures and will try to figure out how to post them for you. It was certainly a day to remember and worth the wait…….:)
A big thank you to the fans for sharing their happiness and joyous moment with all of us!
Twilight Lexicon has secured an interview with Rob, through his management, after the filming of Twilight is completed. Exciting, right? What is even more exciting is the fact that they want to include questions from the fans as well! You may have a chance at your questions being answered by Rob! Visit this post at the Twilight Lexicon for all of the information. The deadline is this Friday, so be sure to get your questions in soon!
Remember the brilliant photos I linked to before? Well, the photographer Amy Howe was gracious enough to let us post her photographs on Pattinson Online! Take a look:
Many thanks goes to The Twilight Lexicon for confirming this! Right as of now there is no content on the site. The current page is a splash that contains this infamous quote: “About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him – and I didn’t know how potent that part might be – that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.”
I would also like to bring your attention to this newspost at the Twilight Lexicon. It contains a small set report which includes some pretty giggle worthy things about Rob. So check it out. ;)
Also, leaversdance on LJ found some really impressive photos of the scene inside the dance studio:
Unfortunately we do not know who exactly took these photographs, but if you know who it was and where they came from originally, please contact us.
The Twilight Moms came through again with even more set photos!
And you have to check out these photographs from photographer Amy Howe. They are absolutely beautiful! They are the first high-quality on-set photographs.
There are new batches of Twilight set photos that have just premiered on the web earlier today. The first set comes from the infamous Twilight Moms who were able to snag some nice shots of Robert:
