We’re back! (You know you missed us.) As you can see, we have a brand new look, but we also have brand new content and slightly more attitude than before (as if we didn’t already have enough). Take a look around, enjoy the new site, and please let us know if you see anything amiss! I will be doing some final tweaking on the layout for the next hour or so, and we’re still having some issues in the gallery that are being worked on, so excuse any rubble and/or debris you might stumble on. Thank you for your continued patience with us as we work to bring you the best of Spunk Ransom Rob!

You all have been so patient with us, suffering through this temp site as we do an extreme makeover, so I thought I’d give you a little update on the site’s status to ease your minds! Everything is going very well (better than we expected!) and we’re just working on the finishing touches right now. The completed site should be up very soon, so just sit tight (maybe grab some popcorn) and enjoy the new magazine scans (yum!) while you wait for the grand reopening of Pattinson Online – we promise it’ll be worth it! :)

Popstar magazine will be featuring a brand new Twilight set visit in its August issue! The magazine has updated its web site with the cover of the issue featuring Rob. You have to look really closely at it to notice him…he is in the upper right hand corner. ;)

This week for Twilight Tuesday MTV Released 5 new video clips from the set. Only 2 of the 5 feature Rob. The first video features Catherine Hardwicke explaining that she can’t bring exactly everything on the screen that is on the pages of Twilight, the video does feature quick segments of Rob and Kristin:

The next video is a clip from a scene where Bella wants to know how Edward stopped the van with only his hands:

Rob attended the Gucci Private Dinner Honoring Rihanna along with other actors, such as Camilla Belle (in photo), on Saturday June 14th!

We are very happy to say that Pattinson Online has an official LiveJournal community! It’s called rpattzdaily. It’s shiny and new, but we have no doubt that it will be incredibly huge!

Exciting news (especially those in the San Diego area)! Robert (and other Twilight cast members, including Kristin Stewart) will be appearing at the 2008 San Diego Comic Con on July 24th. Here is the official announcement from Greetings from Twilight:

The cast of TWILIGHT will be appearing live at the 2008 Comic-Con in San Diego held in July. Scheduled to attend are director Catherine Hardwicke, Kristen Stewart (Bella), Robert Pattinson (Edward), Cam Gigandet (James), Rachelle LaFevre (Victoria), Edi Gathegi (Laurant), Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black) and Stephenie Meyer!* This incredibly talented group will be participating in a panel discussion, autograph signings, and more! TWILIGHT surprises will also be at the Summit Entertainment booth (#4413) throughout the weekend.

The Summit Entertainment Comic-Com panel discussion will take place on Thursday, July 24, 2008 in Hall H of the San Diego Convention Center. Time of the panel is still TDB, but if you’re planning on going to Comic-Con this year, make sure you get tickets for Thursday. There are no 4 day tickets left, so buy single day tickets for the days you want to be there. Get to the hall early and make sure your are in line Thursday morning. so you won’t miss out on this once in a lifetime chance to interact with the cast of TWILIGHT!

Pattinson Online’s t-shirt contest had officially come to a close on Saturday, May 31st. During that time Isabel, Joy, and I went through all of our submissions and finally came to a conclusion late last night.

First and foremost we want to extend our gratitude towards everyone who submitted entries. All of them were incredible. Each and every one of you really put forth so much effort and time and it clearly shows in your designs. We would actually like to use some of the other designs in our store as well, we will contact those artists about this in the near future. =)

With out any further ado *insert drum roll here*…

The grand prize goes to: Dawn who created two very original and very adorable cartoon designs. Dawn will be receiving “The Twilight Collection” which consists of all three hardcover books (and with New Moon being the special edition), two posters, and exclusive tattoos. In addition to this, she also will be receiving a copy of Breaking Dawn come August 2nd.

The runner-up prize goes to: Jordan Moreau. She has developed a very catchy line for the site that really caught our eye. Jordan will also be receiving a copy of Breaking Dawn in the mail when it comes out on August 2nd!

Congratulations girls, you did an outstanding job. And again thank you to all of you who sent in your designs.

It’s Twilight Tuesday yet again! And this week MTV has given us two interviews with Rob and Kristin from the MTV Movie Awards:

Larry Carroll also was able to get Rob’s reaction to all of the Twilight fame during the afterparty:

“I’m taking it in stride,” “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson said, somewhat amazed that his still-seven-months-away movie unveiled an action clip that overshadowed many of the evening’s biggest stars. “[The scene] was a pretty intense moment. Cam [Gigandet] won Best Fight, and I in reality don’t have a single muscle in my entire body … but I won [in the clip], and that’s the great thing about being the lead.”

When asked what was his favorite moment was at the awards, he replied:

“Adam Sandler’s song,” Pattinson countered as his favorite moment, citing a mix of comedy and music. “He was amazing. He’s an amazing singer.”
