Twilight is going to be featured in November’s issue of FiRST magazine in Singapore. Melody contributed the cover into us (which you can see below). We also received an email from Maria who lead us to this article on the FiRST magazine web site. The article features Rob and Kristen and their thoughts on the recent attention they both are receiving from the fans of Twilight.

The magazine will feature a full length interview with Rob and Kristen. Thanks to Maria, we have a few excerpts:

Until recently, acting as a career didn’t cross Pattinson’s mind. He was planning to go to university to study international relations, with hopes of becoming a politician. ” Acting was something I did for fun. I just went to a little drama group in London, I genuinely didn’t consider acting as a career,” he says. “Just last year, I thought I was going to give up acting, and then this year, you’re asked to go to this party and that. Its just kind of surreal. But I don’t really live any differently; my lifestyle in Los Angeles is waiting for the phone to ring, that’s about it. I’m really boring! I just stay at home, watch tv and eat a lot of fast food. That’s really exciting, isn’t it?” adds Pattinson with a laugh.

You are placed on a pedestal even when no one really knows what you’ve done, and that’s a scary thing,” says Pattinson, pondering his future. “Maybe they see it and go, “We thought you would be good, but you’re terrible,’ and then you’re done. Your career will be completely gone. That’s why after Harry Potter, I avoided doing big things because I wanted to make sure that the next time I do something, I’ll be good at it. So I did little things to teach myself how to act. I didn’t plan to work until another year. My plan was to do more little things, before going to the big things. This just kind of happened.”

They may be young, but both Pattinson and Stewart come across as grounded kids who know where their priorites lie.

“I met Zac Efron the other day and he was getting mobbed by so many girls. That’s a full time job, and I can’t do that,” …. “I’m not really prepared to hide anything about myself or behave well. I behave however I want; I don’t care if people don’t like it. I don’t want to sacrifice my lifestyle for jobs.” say Pattinson

“Kristen agrees, Showbiz can be difficult For young actors like us. Its easy to be enamoured with the many Hollywood party scenes, which are pretty romantic looking. Many people get caught in that, but I’m not good at it. I don’t know if I knew about the phenomena. I may be a little intimidated,” admits Stewart.
