Seventeen Magazine has compiled some random quotes from Rob.
“I’ve got a terrible memory—I end up repeating myself quite a lot. The only thing I can remember is that I’m going to repeat myself!”
“I’m really afraid of getting hit by cars, like terrified of it. I’m terrified of crossing streets. I’m also very accident-prone…I think people aim for me.”
“I went to do my first big movie when I was 17. I was in South Africa for three and half months, and I was by myself.”
“I was just taking out my trash and I had, like, 300 cans of Diet Coke. It was just like, ‘How did that happen?’ I don’t even remember buying them. I also like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. My addictions are pretty much the only things I consume.”
“If I go and try to watch a movie by myself I’ll be completely transfixed the whole time, concentrating one hundred percent. But if I’m with another person on a date or something, within two minutes I’ll be like ‘This is rubbish, this is rubbish. We should leave and do something else.’ I don’t really know why.”
“It sounds lame, but I was really concentrating on this job. It was my first American thing so I was pretty focused. I went to Portland for two months before we starting shooting, and I just didn’t talk to anybody for ages during the beginning of the shoot. I never went out, but I kind of broke down half way through. I was like, ‘Okay, people are starting to think that I’m actually out of my mind now.’”

It was a small part for Rob, but Reese Whiterspoon remembers it well. He played her son in the 2004 Film Vanity Fair. And when asked about it recently, she couldn’t help but praise his good looks:
“I remember he was verrrrry handsome! I was like, ‘I have a really handsome son!’ I had to sob and cry all over him, but he was great.”
We verrrry much agree with you Reese! Read the entire article here.
Film School Rejects just published an article about Rob’s post-Twilight buzz, and how it will have everything to do with him playing complex artist Salvador Dali.

You didn’t think that Robert Pattinson was going to live off of his Justin Timberlake-level fame from Twilight for the rest of his career, did you? Alright, well maybe he still might, but in his next film he is going to at least attempt to break away from tween vampire brooding and play a much different character, surrealist painter Salvador Dalí.
This was posted by Variety, that just shared the Little Ashes latest video clip which we posted earlier:
All those teens in love with Rob Pattinson as the dishy Edward Cullen in Twilight may be in for a surprise when they see his next: the arty Bohemian romp Little Ashes, in which he stars as the young painter Salvador Dali–in love with poet Federico García Lorca (Javier Beltran).
In a recent interview Rob suggested people take the time to learn more about Dali before watching the movie. Lucky you, the Little Ashes Promotional Blitz has plenty to offer, just to get you started.
And keep checking back in with us for updates on the film, updates on Rob’s participation in it, and of course a first look at the movie’s trailer on Monday!
Shannon from the How To Be Promotional Blitz just let us know that the dates are set, for the screenings at this year’s Anchorage International Film Festival.
How To Be has been named an official feature selection at this year’s Anchorage International Film Festival and will be screened on Wednesday, 12/10 at 5:30 pm, as well as Friday, 12/12 at 7:30 pm.
Rob is great as ‘Art’. Don’t miss your chance to see him in that role!
Here’s the ticket information.
Rob hanging out with Gossip Girl’s Penn Badgley at a party. One lucky party!
Thanks Vale!
Vale from Twilight Poison, just sent us some links to two clips of Robert that aired in Mexico. In the first one, he does a good job at introducing the Twilight trailer in Spanish (really, no accent). The second is part of the press junket.. where he talks about why sometimes he felt like a girl while shooting the movie. See it here.

Last week we posted MuchMusic‘s video clip of Rob and Rachelle Lefevre playing a silly “How well do you know your castmates?” game. MuchMusic has since posted a longer, unedited video of this funny informal chat with host Hannah. See the new video here.
Watch as Rob calls Rachelle “Rachel”, and then Hannah jokes that Rob is now “Richard from South Africa,” and they argue about who’s hair is more famous. They all enjoy a silly photo of Rob in his infamous black hat – Rob jokes that he is going to start using it as his head shot. In the game they also both select Nikki Reed as the co-star whose iPod they would most like to steal. It turns out that Rachelle likes Nikki’s “wicked taste in music” and the young singer Laura Marling. Rob reveals that it was he who got Nikki turned on to Marling first! Natch!
Rob is set to appear on the UK breakfast show GMTV Today on Dec. 4, 7:00-9:25 a.m. (GMT), the morning after the London premiere. See the notice on their Web site here.

Rob Pattinson has always been able to return home to England and escape the madness. After the huge world-wide success of Twilight, he wonders now if that will be possible.
“And every day that goes past it seems to get a hundred times bigger. Nothing surprises me to do with ‘Twilight’ any more.
“It’s the most distracting thing in the world.”
Although the books are cult favourites in the US, they are not as popular in the ‘Harry Potter’ star’s native UK and he admits he is interested to see the response he gets when he returns home for the film’s British premiere next month.
He added to BBC Newsbeat: “I’m curious to see what happens in England because in all this madness I think I can always go home to England and it’ll all turn off.”

In this interview, Rob’s childhood friend, Sam Bradley, discusses co-writing ‘Never Think’ with Rob, attending the Twilight premiere in L.A. (he plans to attend the UK premiere as well), and how their plan of “making music and movies” is finally happening.
On attending the L.A. Premiere:
“It was pretty crazy, late-night car chases, paparazzi. Robert is just huge there, it’s ridiculous,” Bradley says.
“I’d never heard of Twilight and neither had he,” says Bradley. “He told me as soon as he got it. He was just concentrating on making it as good as he could. What he said mostly was that he was going to be closer to Vancouver.”
Twilight filmed in rural Oregon earlier this year and Pattinson visited his friend in Vancouver during filming breaks. The two wrote the song together a year ago, and Bradley has 25 other songs he plans to record at North Vancouver’s Baker Street studios. But first he’ll head to London for 10 days next month to visit old friends and to attend Twilight’s U.K. premiere.
“It’s bizarre, but we kind of all planned it, this was our idea,” says Bradley of the small group of school friends that also includes rising British actor Tom Sturridge. “It was our idea that they would be making movies and I would be making music. So when Twilight happened, it was kind of like, oh, it’s starting.”

Could life get any better than that!.. Rob autographing his music. I was lucky enough to get exactly that, while covering the L.A. Premiere for Pattinson Online.

Ok french fans.. but just in case we can’t watch it online, video S’il vous plaît (please). That’s the extent of my french.. oh and Merci! (thanks).
People Magazine finally caught on to the Twilight buzz. Their latest issue with Michael J. Fox on the cover, features Rob and the rest of the cast.
They also asked readers who the sexiest vampire was.. and guess who they picked?
Thanks Jessica for sharing those magazine scans!
Entertainment Tonight just put Rob on the list of Top 10 hunks of 2008.
Watch them announce it here.
This is the article that went with it. It’s when Rob was interviewed by ET, on the Red Carpet at the Twilight Premiere:
‘Twilight’ star Robert admits he is finding it hard to come to terms with his new sex symbol status, especially as he still has difficulties finding women who are willing to date him.
The 22-year-old actor said: “I am single at the moment but I read stories in the magazines and papers that I am dating so and so or I am dating so and so. But it’s not true. But they are very good guesses because I always fancy the girl they pair me up with.
“I’m hoping it’s the girl herself who has made it up – then I’m in with a real chance. Maybe I should start getting in contact with them.”
Thanks April for the video link!
A Memphis, Tennessee newspaper just posted its review of Twilight and Rob gets a big thumbs up from the movie critic, who hasn’t even read the books:

Robert Pattinson first caught my eye in his appearance as the ill-fated Cedric in “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.” In “Twilight,” he captivates us. Surely, he will be a master of his art in a few more years.
And this is from a New York movie critic that had read Twilight:
Pattinson did a wonderful job portraying the self-loathing and tormented-but-helplessly-in-love Edward,
Rob proving his talent once again. Read the rest here. and here.
The Tyra show has a brief clip of her interview with Rob and Taylor Lautner that aired today that you can view here. You can watch more of the interview here.
UPDATE: Be sure to watch part two, where they give away a very cool prize to a lucky Twilight fan, here.
Taylor and Rob awkwardly held Twilight inspired undergarments as Tyra snuggled up to Rob and cooed about his hair. They then talked about his job as a paperboy and his desire to be “one of the people” with callouses on his hands.
