Comments OffExtra interviewed Rob’s Twilight & New Moon co-star Rachelle LeFevre at the premiere of “Push” Thursday night. And she had this to say about his decision to cut his hair:
What I’m wondering is what he’s going to do now because he runs his fingers through it all the time,” she said. “What’s he going do with his hands?!”

Comments OffEsther sent us some more scans from the March Issue of Australia’s Girlfriend Magazine.
Here’s the caption:
Things We Love:
Jenna: Edward Cullen a.k.a Robert Pattinson. Yes, I’m slightly (okay totally) obsessed with a fictional character. But so is the entire female population!
And Rob comes in at #2 in GF Loves! A final look at some cool stuff to tune in to this month.
Also don’t forget to scroll down the page, and vote in several polls in which Rob is in the running. Ximena let us know about this latest one:
I’d like to let Robert’s fans know that an Italian magazine, Gals Magazine, is asking girls to vote for The Sexiest in 2008 and Robert is one of the 40 stars in this poll. The web site is www.galsmagazine.it and all that fans have to do is to write their ages where ” ETA’ ” is written, then choose “Robert Pattinson” among the stars (after doing this, a picture with Robert will appear under the word ” STAR “) and, finally, click on the “INVIA” button (which means “send”). On the web page of this magazine, the poll’s name is ” VOTA IL PIU’ SEXY DEL 2008 “. Hope that Robert will win!

Wiktoria sent us the first picture, which is actually a mega poster in the latest issue of Poland’s Bravo Girl Magazine. The next scan was sent in by Stanka. It’s in Germany’s Popcorn Magazine.
Liliana sent us these last two scans. They are from TV Adevaru in Romania.

1Rob talked to Australia’s Girlfriend Magazine after he cut his hair. Tammy sent us the scans and I’m providing the transcript, which by the way, reveals a lot you haven’t heard!
There’s a couple of reasons why we’re still stuck in the Twilight zone. Not only was the movie too awesome to forget, but it introduced us to the greatest boy who’s ever lived, Robert Pattinson. The 22-year-old’s superstar status was sealed recently when his new cropped hairdo generated more headlines than the conflict in Gaza. (To be fair it is more interesting).
GF: Your hair’s shorter..
Robert: I cut it yesterday. I am a rebel. It’s one of those crazy things. The studio was always like “The fans don’t want to see you messy.” I’m like “I don’t care.” Then as soon as one of the fans said “I like how messy he looks..” they came back to me and were like “Okay, you have to be messy all the time. Never stop being messy.”
GF: It looked like a piece of sculpture.
Robert: That’s why I wanted to cut it off. As soon as people started calling it my “trademark.” It’s like, get rid of it.
So has he ever fallen in love with the wrong kind of girl?, And the one place he hopes he can go, to get away from the Twilight hype. Keep reading!

The 22-year-old’s superstar status was sealed recently when his new cropped hairdo generated more headlines than the conflict in Gaza. (To be fair it is more interesting). And eventhough the next instalment in the series New Moon focuses on Bella’s burgeoning relationship with werewolf Jacob, RPattz still plays a starring role in the flick which is slated for released around November 2009. In the meantime check out our interview with a vampire. Never stop being messy.” GF: It looked like a piece of sculpture. Robert: That’s why I wanted to cut it off. As soon as people started calling it my “trademark.” It’s like, get rid of it. GF: The novels regularly mention how beautiful Edward is, so how does it feel for you now to be the beautiful one? Robert: Right. It’s funny! Like last year, if I wanted to chat somebody up I had to go all out. And then this year, I look exactly the same and the walls have just changed overnight! It’s like you just need someone to say “This guy’s attractive,” and then everyone believes it! GF: Was there a palpable chemistry with Kristen Stewart when you first met? Robert: I wanted to do the movie because of her. It was like the first job that I wanted to do in ages. Having Kristen there, I thought that it could be something more than just another film because of the way she was in the audition and because of her track record of having made really good film choices. GF: What about this rumour that you proposed to her on the set? Robert: I don’t know where that came from, It’s like “When did I propose to her?” (laughs). Someone asked me that and I thought, “Did I? Maybe I did.” That’s pretty extreme. That’s really getting into character. I might have proposed to a bunch of other people too. That used to be my favourite chat up line when I was younger. You just go straight up to a person and say “Will you marry me?” I don’t want to mess around.(laughs). GF: What kind of reaction would you get? Robert: None! GF: Have you ever fallen in love with the wrong kind of girl in real life? Robert: Yeah. Anybody can fall in love with the wrong person. Plus, I generally like people that have, like, a dark side. I generally like people who are a little bit crazy. GF: You’ve mentioned in interviews that you are a bit of a loner yourself.. Robert: There’s just very few people who I think are worth the time. Like, I don’t like talking on the phone. I can’t really maintain relationships with people who don’t want to come hang out with me. Plus I’m always moving town. I don’t know, I don’t really see the point most of the time. GF: How often do you get recognised in the streets these days? Robert: I’ve been getting recognised from this since the day I finished shooting. It’s crazy. It was the day that I got back to LA. And it’s almost every single day since then, that there’s someone who spots me. GF: Does it make you uncomfortable? Robert: I mean, I don’t normally go to shopping centres and stuff, and those are the places it happens. But I’ve been uncomfortable in crowds my whole life. I’ve always felt that everyone is looking at me (laughs). So this doesn’t make any difference. I could be in a supermarket and have a full-on panic attack when there’s no one else there. And this was even like five years ago. When nobody knew who I was! GF: This might be the wrong profession for you then. Robert: (laughs) I know. So how prepared were you for the Twilight juggernaut? Robert: I wasn’t really prepared at all. It still gets bigger and bigger every single week. I have no idea. I always think that I can still go back to London and sort of disappear. But it may be too late for that!

Comments OffLittle Ashes receives more widespread exposure on Rob’s Celebrity Page on People.com.
Robert Pattinson Channels Artist Salvador Dalí
Twilight star Robert Pattinson can’t always play a vampire heartthrob.
In his next movie, Little Ashes, set in 1922 and described by Variety as an “arty Bohemian romp,” the London-born actor, 22, plays Spanish surrealist painter (1904-1989) Salvador Dalí as a young man – in love with the poet Federico GarcÍa Lorca, played by Javier Beltran.
The two meet at university, with Lorca attracted to what the movie’s production notes call Dalí’s “bizarre blend of shyness and rampant exhibitionism.” Hey, beats a bite in the neck.

Comments OffThe news on Little Ashes just keeps coming, so let’s get right to it. The Los Angeles Times is revealing possible premiere details for the movie:
Inside word is there may be only an East Coast “Ashes” premiere, in New York, due to Pattinson’s sked.
The “Ashes” press day will definitely be in New York, but no date has been set yet, according to a publicist.
And “Ashes” is also being set to show at the EFM in Berlin by its new international distributor, Regent Worldwide. However, no talent will be there. Sorry, Berlin Robert Pattinson fans.
There you have it. We are keeping close track of all the developments today. So keep checking back with us for the most updated information.

Comments OffRob has a lot to say, in the new Mexican Issue of OK Magazine. He talks about his hair, his bedroom, and why you see him wearing the same clothes pretty often:
Is this a tradition of yours or something?
I just have very few clothes that I like. And I’m always traveling, so I have no time to wash it. It’s pathetic, why am I telling you this?
Describe your bedroom.
My bedroom in my parents house hasn’t changed much since I was 10. But the room where I sleep right now is very disgusting. Possible not very sanitary. It’s like a bum lives in there. It’s like an animal’s cage.
What’s your type of girl?
I don’t know, my tastes change all the time. I used to love crazy girls who were hard to get. But not anymore. Right now I don’t have a special type.
Thanks to Vale from Twilight Poison for the pics and translation. Read the entire interview after the cut.
Robert’s interview for OK magazine. How do you feel when little girls get very excited to you, as if you were a rockstar? Has fame agreed with you? Any weird fan anecdotes? How did you prepare for the role of Edward? How was your relationship with Kristen Stewart? What can you say to parents who see the movie poster in which you’re seducing a young girl? What were you like as a teenager? Is it true you hate to change clothes? Is this a tradition of yours or something? How can you manage to make your hair stand up like that? Did you go through some sort of trauma while showering when you were a kid? Describe your bedroom. What to do you do on your time off? What’s your type of girl? Are you dating anyone? Leonardo DiCaprio said he was glad you came along, because now you’ll take his place as the actor adored by teens In real life, would you stay with a girl to protect her?
To be honest, I take it as something that has nothing to do with me. They are excited for my character Edward, which is the representation of the perfect guy.
It’s a phenomenon that doesn’t seem to end, and my brain hasn’t finished processing it. Everytime I see the fans it tuns into something quite bizarre. In Mexico, Italy and now in the United States where I’ve been promoting the movie. People have reacted with screams and I’m just getting used to the idea.
There was a group of girls that left little notes in my car, outside of my apartment. One of the first notes said: I’m not weird, but please call me. The next day the note said: Please don’t ignore me. And the next day it said I’m going to kill myself if you keep ignoring me! (but I’m not weird, ok?).
I based my performance on James Dean’s Rebel Without a Cause because I thought it would be fun to have that style for a vampire. I changed my entire body language a bit , I ran a lot, I practiced boxing for two hours a day for two months and I can honestly say I had never been so fit. Oddly enough, I’ve never been good in sports.
Kristen in amazing, and your first impulse is to ask her for her phone number. But then I forced myself to remember that 90% of what you do on screen is acting and make things up. I enjoyed the process of creating these characters with her. We would spend all night talking about our scenes and the next day we would defend out points of view. That creative energy made us have a very special bond.
They should keep in mind that vampires can’t have sex. That theme is very important for parents, because in the books there’s an underlying message of abstinence and how important it is. I also think that the character of Bella in kind of a role model because she’s sensitive and passionate. To be honest, the content in Twilight is pretty harmless.
I loved to go to the movies. I saw tons of movies. I used to write a lot too. I considered myself a writer.
Yes, I rarely do it. For this interview I wore this clean pair of jeans, but there have been moments were I can’t even stand my own smell.
I just have very few clothes that I like. And I’m always traveling, so I have no time to wash it. It’s pathetic, why am I telling you this?
I have it like this since I rolled out of bed. It’s just grease. I just don’t wash it, ever.
My dad loved to brush my hair and I hated that. It’s funny how part of my personality has a lot to do with my hair.
My bedroom in my parents house hasn’t changed much since I was 10. But the room where I sleep right now is very disgusting. Possible not very sanitary. It’s like a bum lives in there. It’s like an animal’s cage.
I watch movies, I read, I play all kinds of music. Honestly, I?m not that very interesting.
I don’t know, my tastes change all the time. I used to love crazy girls who were hard to get. But not anymore. Right now I don’t have a special type.
No, I’m promoting the movie right now.
Wow! That’s really cool. I didn’t know that. He’s had the best career among all the other young actors. I would love to have that kind of career.
If anyone needs me to protect her, I will. But unlike my character, I’m not overprotective at all.
Comments OffIs that an inspiring quote or what. It’s part of Bravo Magazine’s outtakes, from the interview they did with Rob in Germany last month.
Thanks to Lena we have the translation of what he said, that didn’t make it into the double-page article:
“I’m not as romantic as Edward, but I try to.”
“I’ve just had one serious relationship and that was five years ago!”
“One year ago I had no good chances to date a girl, it’s hard to believe
that I suddenly got sexy.”“I don’t have much in common with Edward. He’s brave, but I’m even afraid
of the darkness. Edward composes love songs, I think it’s embarrassing!
He’s strong and I’m weak.”“I search for something special about a girl, something mysterious. But not
many women have it.”

These new scans are from Click TV in Romania. They were sent in by Andrada. Thanks!
