Why Is He Famous?
Robert Pattinson got his first big break when he was cast as Cedric Diggory in both Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. We were cool with that because back then he still had baby fat in his now chiseled cheeks, and he had to wear a dorky wizard costume in both films. Things have indeed changed since. His role as the sensitive vampire Edward Cullen in 2008’s Twilight catapulted Robert Pattinson’s face into stardom and into the high school lockers of girls the world over. He’s raised the bar on how women measure good looks, and we’re starting to get a little miffed. The British actor is arguably the hottest new star in Hollywood, and he’s a big part of the reason why the recently released Twilight DVD is one of the top five biggest selling DVDs of the past five years. You can thank your girlfriend and her lady friends for that.
