Little Ashes and the Moustache
The opening of Little Ashes has spawned numerous tributes to Rob’s portrayal of Salvador Dali and Dali’s famous moustache (also spelled mustache). The first (and this newsposter’s favorite) is the report by MTV Movie Blog about Out Magazine’s screening of Little Ashes.
To his credit, Pattinson went full out on the role, even adopting the artist’s iconic mustache, which has now become as talked about as the film itself. And that brings us to Out Magazine’s screening of “Little Ashes” here in New York City this week. As you’ll see…they did a little something special to pay tribute to Pattinson.
Not to be left out, Rotten Tomatoes is having a Little Ashes Moustache Contest with a very special prize. Enter here.
RT is hosting an epic, week-long moustache contest to see who can come the closest to replicating the master painter and filmmaker’s iconic ’stache. Do you have the stuff that moustache dreams are made of? If so, step up and submit your best photographed, Photoshopped, or drawn self portraits for a chance to win an exclusive Little Ashes poster signed by Pattinson himself!
If you did not get to see Little Ashes on opening day, support Rob and the film by seeing it this weekend! Watch this while you’re waiting for the theatres to open!
