Willow Raine has written two interesting articles (here and here) asking fans to take a stand against rumours and to “leave Rob alone” – something we at Pattinson Online have been saying for ages!
Those that run these Gossip mags, laugh all the way to the bank, and will continue to do so, until we take a stand. You love Robert Pattinson? Jackson Rathbone? Kellan Lutz? The rest of the Twilight Saga Cast? If you do, PROVE IT. Show them some respect. When you’re in line at the grocery store, or wherever you see them, pick them up and turn them around. Do not pick them up and read them, and most certainly do not purchase them. Will it stop the crap rumors? No, but it will make an impact. It only takes ONE person to make a difference, to take a stand. Be the change you want to see in the world, and it’s contagious. Others WILL follow suit.
We’ve seen many blogs and articles on this topic recently, including this one (warning: strong language), and we at Pattinson Online are extremely pleased (and proud!) that fans are starting to take a stand.
Don’t forget that you can discuss this issue over at our LiveJournal community or in the forum. The more fans work together, the safer Rob and his fellow stars will be!
