‘Twilight’ Star Peter Facinelli Confirms that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Do Not Twitter
Even though we, along with other sites, have repeatedly advised fans not to be taken in by those posing as Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and other stars of the hit series Twilight, claiming to have Twitter accounts, star Peter Facinelli has come forward with a warning and confirmation of his own.
In a very recent tweet, from an official, confirmed account of his own, Mr. Facinelli spoke of Rob and Kristen. “THEY DO NOT HAVE TWITTER.” Mr. Facinelli is currently with Mr. Pattinson and Ms. Stewart in Vancouver, British Columbia preparing for their work with new director David Slade in Eclipse.
Mr. Facinelli also spoke to the fact that there are a number of other Twilight stars who are also NOT Tweeting. On that list are co-stars Elizabeth Reaser, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, and Jackson Rathbone (except for his band 100 Monkeys’ Twitter account).
As an even bigger help to Twilight fans, Mr. Facinelli even went so far as to name several false accounts claiming to be the official ones for Pattinson and Stewart (namely, @rtp_ and @IAmKStewart). He also stated “it’s not cool to mislead people.” In the words of Mr. Facinelli, “No more posers please!”
