As promised, MTV brought us the “MTV Halloween Music Festival Special “Ulalume: Howling at New Moon!” along with it visit, brief though it was, with none other than Robert Pattinson, himself! Of course, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart appeared along with Rob to introduce a never before seen birthday party clip from the upcoming Twilight Saga: New Moon. Previously, we had heard the news that Robert Pattinson would be featured in the December issue of Vanity Fair magazine. Today, some of the photos from that issue made their way onto the internet, and thanks to the TV show Extra and some screen captures by robsessedpattinson.com, we have a few previews of what is to come in the next month or so. Charlie Bewley who portrays Volturi vampire Demitri in the upcoming Twilight Saga: New Moon recently did an interview with Glamour magazine, and, of course, he was asked about Robert Pattinson during this interview. Mr. Bewley discussed the advice he had received from other cast-mates on dealing with all the press and hype surrounding the film. He gave a little insight into what Rob deals with in terms of press and how it hasn’t changed him at all. I don’t think anyone is really surprised that such a wonderful young man as Robert Pattinson has remained so grounded and centered in his life. Have any of the other cast-mates given you advice on how to deal with the hype, because Robert Pattinson especially has a lot to deal with?
I think Rob is dealing with it very, very well. I mean given the fact that he is the most photographed person in the world and that he can’t leave his front door. I mean when I speak to Rob, he doesn’t seem like he’s changed too much from when I first met him or from what I’ve seen of him in interviews before that. He’s still a very grounded person, someone who massively enjoys what he’s doing and an avid musician so I think he’s having a fantastic time. Did he give me advice? Not really. I think everyone deals with it in their own way.

We have just received an official statement from E1 Entertainment in regards to the recently announced New Moon London event and the contests that are popping up around the internet.

With the countdown on until The Twilight Saga: New Moon hits our cinemas on November 20, we are aware that rumours have been rife regarding a dedicated fan event and that giveaways have been launched in order to win tickets. Specifically one has launched on Livejournal.com which asked fans to create Facebook groups. Please be aware that the competitions you are currently finding online at present ARE NOT OFFICIAL! Please do not enter them as you will not win tickets.
