Robert Pattinson in The Daily Telegraph
The Sunday Daily Telegraph features yet another interview with Robert Pattinson. But unlike most of the ones we have stumbles across recently, this new interview is not only extremely well-written, but also holds several new bits of information, such as Robert’s plans to spend Christmas in the UK and how he would love to do more live performances.
Submit NewsAsked how he’s coping with the fame, he says, “I don’t really know, yet. I’ve pretty much been locked away as things have intensified. I only noticed the scale of it as I was shooting another movie (Remember Me, a romantic drama with Aussie actor Emilie de Ravin) in New York and tons of people turned up at the set every day. I guess I’ll find out next year what my life is like outside a filmset context.”
“Before these movies, I worked about 10 days a year and that was more my pace,” he laughs.
“The paparazzi pressure (is hard) because you have a bunch of people who want to see you do something stupid. Sometimes when you’ve done a 16-hour day, you just want to go and have dinner, but they’re waiting for you to make an idiot of yourself. It takes its toll eventually.” Immediate plans include the New Moon press tour – although Australia isn’t on the agenda – and a trip back to the UK for Christmas (”I miss London quite chronically at the moment”).
