Esquire Puts Rob in Hall of Shame
Rob has a new award to add to his growing list of accomplishments.Esquire magazine put out its list of 2010′s worst-dressed celebrities, and the first person on their slideshow is Rob. But he certainly isn’t the only Englishman to make the cut: fellow Brits Russell Brand and Ed Westwick are also on the list. In the “2010 Celebrity Style Hall of Shame” the editors give Rob some advice on grooming:
“If we could give Mr. Pattinson two pieces of advice on how to transition from tween heartthrob to legitimate actor and public figure it would be these: tuck in the shirt and wash that hair.”
And they also comment on Rob’s uncanny ability to make all of his clothes look like they’ve come straight off the back of a hobo:
“The actor has admitted he’s not big on bathing, and he most certainly prefers rather ratty, mismatched clothes. Pattinson even manages to make the smartest of suits look disheveled.”

As far as the not bathing thing goes, I am just a tad disappointed that they are taking rumour based on something said in jest a few years ago as gospel, obviously not doing any legit research of their own! They also have obviously not seen Rob on the red carpet doing the suit thing to perfection. Oh, and tucking the shirt in??? Soooo not necessary – looks good just as it is!!!

I think his clothes is part of his charm but the not bathing? I wonder is he needs a personal assistant keep him organized.
This is funny since so many other places have put him on their best dressed. He probably deserves neither. He dresses how he wants; leave him alone.
What gets to me the most about this is the perpetuation of the myth he doesn't bathe. Rob admitted on The View that the answer to interviews is don't joke during interviews or don't do interviews. He makes silly jokes all the time and people take them as fact. Get over it. He bathes or most likely showers.
I agree with the fact that he wears messy clothes when not being dressed for an event, but who cares? Rob looks hot in whatever he wears. Besides why would tucking in his shirt make him a better actor? lol

Hasn't he also been at the top of several best dressed lists?! Have these people ever seen him in a tux? If you visit college campuses these days, you'll see guys in T-shirts under flannel shirts, beanies, ripped jeans, etc. Exactly whose look does Esquire think they're going for?
Rob is by far the most handsome man in hollywood and whatever he wears, how ever he wears it he look damn good… People need to get a life and leave him alone… Rob you are the best thing that ever happen us!
I really hate that they are using comments he made just kidding around from a couple of years ago. Rob very obviously bathes. As far as his clothes, I am so glad that he is down to earth and has not gone Hollywood on us. There is no need to tuck in his shirts, that's just stupid on their part. When Rob is on the red carpet, dressed in a suit or tux, he looks gorgeous!! Rob is a gorgeous person inside and out and doesn't need Esquire's approval.

Look, rob is who he is, a normal guy who prefer's to dress casual, it's that simple. I too, love the way he dresses, n, if it's casual, why not, he hasn't got to prove himself to anyone. I'am glad he dresses like that actually, show's he hasn't got a big head, yet. Let's hope he stay's that way.
