USA Today has released an article today, entitled ‘Classic romantic triangle takes monstrous form in New Moon.’ Reporter, Susan Wloszczyna, talks to the New Moon creators, Stephenie Meyer, Melissa Rosenberg, and Chris Weitz about the characters and what New Moon represents in the Twilight series.

Although this article is filled with great details about the movie, the characters, the actors, and what is about to come our way, the following quote seems to say everything.

Edward is the first love, an obsession fueled by the flames of desire and the torture of heartache when he isn’t near. Jacob is the loyal buddy, the guy you’re at ease with and who knows you better than anyone, who slowly evolves into something much more.

This time next week, New Moon will finally be in the theaters. The anticipation has been building and the hopes are high. Since we received word from Summit Entertainment that New Moon was officially a go, fans have been pondering how the script and directors would deal with the backseat that Edward took in the book. Of course, Edward being gone is pivotal in the story, yet, how could they please the fans without Robert Pattinson’s presence? All those questions have been answered and so far the crowds seem pleased with the solution. In the book, Edward was in Bella’s head, which is very easy for a person to visualize. On screen, Edward becomes an illusion that only Bella can see. Perfect! Bella still goes without Edward, but the fans don’t have to go without Rob!

Hollywood.com’s reporter, Thomas Leupp, sat down with Rob and interviewed him. He asked him questions about how he felt with the more predominant role in New Moon. Rob also talks about working with a new director and what it’s like to have to do the slow motion scenes. Of course, Rob is filled with some great one liners! Enjoy the video!

On November 16 Filmink Magazine, Australia will be featuring New Moon. We have added these scans to our gallery. They begin here.

The article, Filmink interviews Rob, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. Rob discusses many aspects of New Moon that have not been touched on before. Rob knows Edward almost as well as the creator of the series, Stephenie Meyer, and he is able to see sides to this character that no one else can. It is enlightening to hear his side.

When asked about which relationship he would prefer: Jacob or Edward, Rob answered with the following:

It depends on what you want out of the relationship. If you want to have that constant passion and have a very volatile relationship, then Edward would be the one…

Summit Entertainment Releases EPK for ‘New Moon’

The opening of New Moon is only two weeks away. The excitement is building and Summit Entertainment knows how to please the fans: Rob, clips, Rob, teasers, and more Rob! An EPK (Electronic Press Kit) has been released which includes three movie clips and ten minutes of behind the scenes. MTV Goes Behind the Scenes with Rob and ‘New Moon’

MTV has posted several new behind the scene videos. The first two clips are interviews. The second two clips show Rob shooting the stunt work for the Volturi fight scene and how that scene turns out. It’s awesome! Enjoy!

The first video is Rob discussing the birthday party scene. Rob discusses what Edward goes through in this pivotal moment. Edward struggles internally as always. He is standing this beautifully decorated birthday party, thinking that this could actually work for him and Bella to actually realizing that things may not be so easy for them in an instant. The next video is of Kristen Stewart discussing how easy it was for her and Rob to get back into character. She says they are both, “instinctual, impulsive actors.” Click here.

An Oldie but Goodie

Extra TV has a video of an interview Rob did at Comic Con in July 2008. The interview takes place right after the panel. This was the first event where Rob and his cast mates realized how big Twilight was going be. This was an overwhelming, yet humbling experience for Rob.
