Tasha and I were lucky enough to get into the MTV “Spoilers” event last night. It was such a great time. Rob was as darling as ever. Unfortunately, he wasn’t part of the Q&A as had been advertised. He was there to do the introduction, though. I’ve typed up a detailed account of how things went, but it’s fairly long. I have posted it on LiveJournal HERE, if anyone would like to read it.

THANK YOU, MTV! Larry was great last night, BTW. Very personable. I really appreciate him giving us the opportunity to attend.

After biting into the role of vampire Edward Cullen in November’s much-anticipated Stephenie Meyer adaptation Twilight, Brit actor Robert Pattinson plays surrealist painter Salvador Dalí in the 2009 drama Little Ashes.’

Set in 1920s Spain, the film focuses on poet Federico García Lorca (Javier Beltrán) and the intense bond he forms with Dalí while attending art school in Madrid.

MTV News will be holding a very special “Twilight” event in Los Angeles on November 7th, as we tape a television special celebrating the much-anticipated movie. “Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and director Catherine Hardwicke will be in attendance to address the crowd, and they’ll premiere never-before-seen footage from the movie some two weeks before it hits theaters. Hardwicke will also take questions from attendees during a Q & A session.

Here’s what you need to do: If you’re over 18, will be in Los Angeles on the 7th and can attend, post a comment below this article explaining why you are a true Twilighter. Have you memorized every line in the trailer, tattooed “Team Edward” on the small of your back, or named your baby Spunk Ransom? We want to know.

Tonight is the Twilight Soundtrack listening party at Hot Topic.

Be one of the first people to hear the entire Twilight soundtrack (in-stores November 4th). Hot Topic will be hosting exclusive listening parties at all of their locations on Friday, October 24th at 7pm. They’ll be playing every song, including the previously unreleased songs from Paramore, Rob Pattinson, Perry Farrell and Mutemath, PLUS hear the unveiling of “Bella’s Lullaby”.

EW talks about the petition to get Rob to host SNL and why they think it would be a good idea…

1. It would be good for the economy: In these lean times, everyone’s looking to save a buck or two — even big networks like NBC — and in Rob you get not only a host, but a musical guest to boot. And after my exclusive preview of the Twilight soundtrack, which includes Pattinson’s song “Never Think,” I can whole-heartedly endorse the vamp’s vocal prowess.

2. The inevitable Twilight parody: Pregnant Amy Poehler (as Bella Swan) + Rob = Breaking Dawn fabulousity. I wonder if Amy can vomit blood on cue?

3. He’s just plain fun to look at.
