The Twilight movie media blitz has landed Robert a feature article in the New York Times.
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. — There are times when the limitations of the printed word come into focus, like when there is a need to convey how it sounded when Robert Pattinson, who stars as the vampire heartthrob Edward Cullen in the forthcoming movie “Twilight,” stepped onto a riser at the King of Prussia Mall outside Philadelphia on Thursday evening in front of more than 1,000 mostly teenage girls.
In collective pitch, frequency and volume the sound would make a shuttle launching seem demure, a Jack White guitar solo retiring, a jackhammer somehow soothing. To reach into history, it may have approached Beatles-at-Shea-Stadium loud, replete with the weeping, swooning and self-hugging, and only the ambient flutter of cellphone cameras and furious texting by way of modern update.

How can you attend a Twilight signing? Read carefully! Purchase the $30 Twilight Tour tee and get a wristband that guarantees you access to the signing. Purchase must be made IN PERSON on the date of the event in the specific malls listed below. Space is very limited. You must have a wristband to enter signing.

A disturbing article on celebuzz puts Rob on the spot about his supposed snobbish ways with fans last week at two public events.
Let me start by saying that I have never met Rob, but I hope to interview him someday, and make my own assumptions.
Having said that, I know several of the Pattinson Online staffers have met him, and they can vouch for the fact that Rob is very good to his fans.
All you have to do is look at the evidence.. just last weekend in Austin one fan waiting outside the How to Bescreening, said Rob insisted on signing autographs for the dozens of fans who didn’t make it into the theater.
So say what you will, unless I see concrete proof to the contrary, I’m gonna side with the fans that have met Rob, and say he’s a humble and modest guy.
After all, why does a star have a fan site if not to support him.
Rob attended the Gucci Private Dinner Honoring Rihanna along with other actors, such as Camilla Belle (in photo), on Saturday June 14th!
