Paul Morrison, the director of Little Ashes, has won the award once before, in 1999 for his film “Solomon and Gaenor.” The next year, the film was nominated for an Oscar. Little Ashes went up against nine other films to compete for the audience favorite award, which is the highest that any film can receive at the Schermi D’Amore Film  Festival.  Congrats to Rob and all of the movie’s cast and crew!

Little Ashes has won the GLAAD Media Award for Best Film Limited Release. The awards are given annually to “recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community and the issues that affect their lives.”

According to BAFTAOnline Robert Pattinson will be one of the presenters at the 2010 BAFTA Awards, alongside Kate Winslet, Guy Pearce, Claire Danes, Dustin Hoffman, Uma Thurman, Clive Owen, Matt Dillon, Noel Clarke, Terry Gilliam, Rupert Everett and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
