Thanks to Twilight News for letting us know that they are giving away three copies of “Twilight: The Graphic Novel.” You can find out more about the novel below and you can enter the competition HERE. The competition is open to UK residents only and it closes on March 21st.

“Twilight: The Graphic Novel,” volume 1, will be published in hardback on 17th March 2010, priced at £12.99. As is typical in graphic novel publishing, due to the length of the prose novel, the book will be divided into two volumes and the release date for the second volume is yet to be announced.

Twilight: The Graphic Novel contains selected text from Meyer’s original novel with illustrations by Korean artist Young Kim. A rare fusion of Asian and Western comic techniques is reflected in this black-and-white graphic novel with colour interspersed throughout. Stephenie Meyer consulted throughout the artistic process and had input on every panel.

“I’ve enjoyed working on this new interpretation of Twilight,” said Stephenie Meyer. “Young has done an incredible job transforming the words that I have written into beautiful images. The characters and settings are very close to what I was imagining while writing the series.”

Samantha Smith, Atom Editorial Director, said, “It’s incredibly exciting for us to be able to introduce fans, who might not have read a graphic novel before, to this wonderfully innovative and imaginative format. Stephenie Meyer’s UK fans have always been hugely supportive. We’re sure that they’re going to be just as excited as we are to see Twilight in such a new and exciting way.”

If you’ve listened to the latest episode of the PattyCast, you’ll have heard about our newest contest… we’re asking you to create a brand new intro for our show!

Not sure what an intro is? Here’s an example! Basically you’ll be creating an audio clip that we will use to introduce our podcast each episode.

01. Entries must not be longer than 30 seconds.
02. Entries must be submitted in one of the following formats: .mp3 (preferred), .wav, .wma, .ogg
03. Entries must be submitted via email by January 15th.
04. You may submit more than one entry (the more, the merrier!).

Note: In your intro, you do not need to include the “You’re listening to the PattyCast” voiceover – we will insert that later. Also, if your entry is chosen, you may be asked to submit original files (such as music clips used, etc.).

UK Fan Event Ticket Information

Earlier this week we announced that E1 Entertainment confirmed that there will be a New Moon Fan Event in Battersea Park, London, but that some of the contests offering a chance to win tickets were in fact scams.

We now have official ticket information released by E1 Entertainment and fans are given the chance to win two tickets by entering a competition here.

With the hype surrounding the release of New Moon in the UK intensifying, STV has an exclusive competition for Twilight fans where they can ask Robert Pattinson their burning questions. STV will be holding a Twilight: New Moon Movie Special on Monday November 16, where the station’s movie guru Grant Lauchlan will be interviewing Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

In order to get the chance to ask the cast questions, you will need to subscribe to the show’s newsletter here (sign up for an account and check the box to sign up for Grant’s Film Club newsletter). The newsletter will give more details on how to send your questions when it is sent out on Monday, and the best questions will be picked out and asked on the show.
