Perhaps one of the best surprises; however, one of the biggest and best surprises has Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart appearing on the “MTV Halloween Music Festival Special “Ulalume: Howling at New Moon!” They will be introducing a new clip from–you guessed it– “New Moon” on the program!
Cast from “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” Introduces Exclusive Sneak-Peek from the Film in this Television Special Premiering October 30th on MTV, MTV2 & mtvU.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon: The Score is now available for pre-order at www.amazon.com. The album is to be released on November 24th.
As you know, the score is being composed by Alexandre Desplat – recent recipient of a Hollywood Award. Twilight’s score was composed by Carter Burwell, whose music will still be a part of The Twilight Saga: New Moon as well.
Desplat’s piece, “The Meadow,” is also going to be appearing on the official soundtrack for the film, and a few seconds of that song were previewed on the UK’s Amazon page.
The response to that particularly piece was overwhelmingly positive, so it seems inevitable that the New Moon score will be captivating as well.

We hijack this news post to bring you some Sam Bradley love! You have heard all us ladies on the Pattycast wax poetic on how wonderful Sam is, so why not share even more with you supportive fans?!
Janna, Pattinson Online’s Network Director as well as the Euro-Talent Examiner, wrote a very in depth article on Sam’s rise to fame through Twilight and much further beyond.
Singer-songwriter Sam Bradley has been on a journey; selling out venues across America, releasing an innovative digital format album, and launching an official website as a headquarters for his growing fan base. But looking deeper into his thoughtful lyrics and heartfelt live performances, it is apparent that there is something more profound taking place under the surface; an emotional journey of a musician choosing the road less travelled and finding himself along the way.

The first track for the New Moon soundtrack has been announced, and Death Cab for Cutie made the list with “Meet Me on the Equinox.” Although this seems to be an unusual choice at first glance, it is actually one that makes a lot of sense. For one, Stephenie Meyer featured DCFC on her playlist as inspiration for writing the novel. In addition, Forks, Washington is a place they know well. The filming for the video begins later on this week in Toronto. The band has said that they will not be running around the woods or dressing as a vampire, but Nick Harmer (bassist) has an idea which he says will, “no doubt endear him even further to “Twilight” fans.” The video will debut on September 13th on MTV.com, the same day at the MTV Video Music Awards, and fans were left with the following comment from Harmer to keep the anticipation high, “I’m of the mind-set that the more Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner you can throw in the video, the more popular the video is going to be.” I am pretty sure that anything with Robert in it will be a hit! Congratulations Death Cab and welcome to mania!

Twilight: New Moon Soundtrack is to be released on October 13th, but it is now available for pre-order at Amazon.com. The soundtrack sells for $9.99!
Stephenie Meyer’s site has the following information regarding the soundtrack’s release:
The first single has officially been confirmed for the New Moon Soundtrack! Death Cab for Cutie has written an exclusive song for the movie entitled ‘Meet Me On the Equinox.’ Below is a statement from the band about the song:
“We are very excited to be a part of this amazing series of novels set in our own backyard. It just seemed a perfect synergy that a band from the Northwest would create a song for a series of novels set in the Northwest. We wrote ‘Meet Me On the Equinox’ to reflect the celestial themes and motifs that run throughout the Twilight series and we wanted to capture that desperate feeling of endings and beginnings that so strongly affect the main characters. This song marks the first attempt that Death Cab for Cutie has ever made at contributing new, unreleased material for a film and we are proud to be a part of the Twilight legacy.” — Nick Harmer / Death Cab for Cutie
