In order to raise money for the Barnardo’s charity (visit their website here!), Pattinson Online reader, Gemma, is raffling off a “Twilight” DVD which was signed by Robert Pattinson, Nikki Reed and Taylor Lautner. The DVD was signed at the “New Moon” premiere in New York.

Your chance to own a very rare piece of Twilight memorabilia; a Twilight DVD signed by Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen, pink pen), Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black, black pen) and Nikki Reed (Rosalie Hale, blue pen). The DVD was signed by the actors in person at the D&G premiere for New Moon at the Sunshine Theater in New York on November 19th 2010.

Fans Fight Back – Update

We brought you news of our collaboration with Thinking of Rob this weekend and their Fans Fight Back Initiative after the disgusting paparazzi treatment of Rob this past Friday. As of today, we are happy to announce that ToR and their staff have collected almost 1,000 photos from fans and almost 100 sites in support.

Listen Up Paps – Fans Send a Message

Our partners Thinking of Rob began an initiative this morning due to the release of heavily invasive paparazzi photographs taken of Robert Pattinson at Marcus Foster’s show last night. Fans were urged to take photos blocking their faces in protest of the paparazzi treatment.

Kimberly Sherman, the Twilight Parents Examiner, wrote a great article listing everyone making an effort to maintain and give back Rob some of his privacy.

As validated by the dozens of reader comments, the crazed fan scene on the set of Remember Me sparked outrage among Twilight fans and Twilight fan sites alike.

Several sites have since started up campaigns designed to honor and respect actors as they work their craft.

The lovely ladies at The Twilight Lexicon have posted a short little take on Jed’s tMF article concerning our Project F.L.A.N.S.

The Movie Fanatic has an in depth piece surrounding the media circus that seems to cover Robert Pattinson wherever he goes. They interviewed the crew over at Pattinson online(shout out to admin Joyce who we met in Atlanta), a fan group that has been following Rob for over three years.

My lovely friend and fantastic writer, Jed Medina from the Movie Fanatic, has written an excellent article about Rob, Pattinson Online, and our new Project F.L.A.N.S. Jed has a lot to say regarding gossip mongers and bloggers and how we’re handling Perez Hilton (#unfollowperezhilton !!!). This is the first of two excellent articles written by Jed, the second will be featured on the F.L.A.N.S page, so stay tuned!

Again? Blimey! tMF wants another hit post right? Sure… and why not may I ask? But how come you choose Rob once more and not the other 4 guys you put ahead of our poor, poor Edward in your Top 50 Hitlist?

I’ll have the answer to that later. Actually, I’m just trying to make you curious. I’m not the only one who’ll talk about Rob. You see, Pattinson Online has launched a campaign that every Rob fans need to know… But that’s just one of the topics I’m going to blog about here.

Over the past few months (and even years), we here at Pattinson Online have gotten more and more frustrated with the lack of respect shown to Rob by the media and even by people who call themselves fans. In an attempt to raise awareness, we are adding our (already loud) voices to those who are taking a stand and making a difference. We are proud to introduce our newest project, Project F.L.A.N.S.

We hope that you, as dedicated fans of Robert Pattinson, will support the project (and Rob) by getting involved and spreading the word!

Summit has announced that it has a New Moon Myspace that will be launched very soon! They report:

“It goes live shortly, and we are very excited about it! It only hosts the trailer right now but it will have a lot more as the release date of the movie gets closer. One cool little feature are the tabs at the top that let you switch between the Twilight and New Moon pages.”

Summit Announces Pattinson’s Costars for “Remember Me”

In a recent Variety article, Summit Entertainment announced that Emilie de Ravin (“Lost”), Pierce Brosnan and Chris Cooper will star alongside Robert Pattinson in his next project, Remember Me, the Allen Coulter-directed drama that begins production in New York on June. Patty Christmas Project – Final List

After several weeks of work, the Christmas project is done! You can see the final song listing here.*

If your song did not make it on to the list, here are some possible reasons:
» You submitted more than one song, which was against the rules.
» You didn’t submit a reason for your song, or your song was missing other crucial info.
» Your song file was corrupted, or something else was wrong with it.
» I couldn’t find your song to include it (possibly combined with the previous reason).

You might say, “But why didn’t you email me if there was a problem?” The answer: I did. I emailed every single person whose song had a problem. If you didn’t get my email, I don’t know what to tell you.

You might also come up with a million other complaints, and to that I will say this: Keep it to yourself. Seriously. I’ve been working on this pretty much nonstop for the past few weeks in between moving the site and all the other issues we’ve been dealing with, so as rude as this may sound, I’m not in the mood for whining, sorry.

I still ♥ you, though. ;)

And to answer the question before you flood our inbox: The completed project will be sent to Rob as soon as possible (we have our ways, don’t worry) and we promise to let you know if and when we receive a reply.

We’ve gotten several suggestions from our awesome fans to do a Christmas project for Rob, so here it is! Any fan of Rob knows how much he loves music, so we’ve decided to send him our favorite songs! If you’d like to participate in this project, please send an email to admin.pattinsononline@gmail.com with the subject “Christmas Project” and the following information:

1. The title and artist of the song you would like to recommend to Rob.
2. A short statement saying why you are recommending this song (your song will not be added without a reason!).

That’s it! We will compile the music and send it all to Rob.

IMPORTANT: Please only send ONE (1) song suggestion! If you send more than one, we will not include your submission.

The deadline to send in your submission is December 22.
