“Twilight: The Graphic Novel,” volume 1, will be published in hardback on 17th March 2010, priced at £12.99. As is typical in graphic novel publishing, due to the length of the prose novel, the book will be divided into two volumes and the release date for the second volume is yet to be announced.

Twilight: The Graphic Novel contains selected text from Meyer’s original novel with illustrations by Korean artist Young Kim. A rare fusion of Asian and Western comic techniques is reflected in this black-and-white graphic novel with colour interspersed throughout. Thanks to Alison for letting us know that Walmart has opened various “New Moon” hotspots across the US,  all of them packed with free goodies and merchandise. More details below:

We have been told that in 3500 Walmarts across the nation New Moon mini stores/kiosks will be opening tomorrow (March 10th). Each store will have a New Moon Hotspot located behind the accessories area. Some store will feature 2 New Moon locations with the additional location being in the electronics area.

These hotspots will be where Walmart will be hosting their DVD midnight release parties on March 20th. Unlike corporate parties in the past, Walmart seems to know what fans want. Exclusively we have inside information on some of the party plans…. [..]

We have just been told by Kimberly Sherman, the writer of the Robert Pattinson bio comic, that fans who pre-order the comic book will receive an original sketch from the book’s artist. You can order your copy HERE.

The book’s artist, Nathan Ooten, will send out a signed copy complete with an original sketch for the low price of $10, which includes shipping and handling.

Orders for this promotion must be received by March 22.

In order to raise money for the Barnardo’s charity (visit their website here!), Pattinson Online reader, Gemma, is raffling off a “Twilight” DVD which was signed by Robert Pattinson, Nikki Reed and Taylor Lautner. The DVD was signed at the “New Moon” premiere in New York.

The UK release date is set to March 22nd, according to Amazon. The UK Special features have also been added to the Amazon listing and can be viewed below.
