We are hosting a marathon New Moon Chat today and tomorrow! We’ll be fangirling over the movie (there will be spoilers galore!) and just having fun! There might even be games or prizes! ;) Come for a little, come for a lot – until you reach your fangirl limits (if there is such a thing)!

When: Friday @ 8pm EST to Saturday @ 8am EST (12 hours!)
Where: Our ustream channel!

We won’t be doing any audio, so you don’t even need speakers. Just come ready to chat with your fellow Robfans! See you there!

Exclusive Interview with Robert Pattinson

We have a Friday treat for you all! The editing is finally done and without further ado here is the Pattinson Online exclusive one on one interview with Rob during the New Moon press junket in LA. The time was short, but Rob was fabulous and gave us a fantastic interview. Enjoy!

We will have a transcript of the video by the weekend just in case you missed anything. Like Janna said to Chris Weitz, don’t be intimidated by our video equipment…we left our fuzzy boom mic in our other pants that day!

Lots of things to also stay tuned for: Our edited Live Anniversary Pattycast in which Janna tells us how the interview went for her! We are also releasing a few cut clips later in the month. A special thanks to Rob, for your time and the laughs; we can’t wait to see your “syllabic talents” and leave you with one of our own: Thanks for the chair lift/you failed at Ren and Stimpy/better luck next time!

In further celebration of our anniversary (yay), and to celebrate Friday the 13th, we are hosting another Twitter contest!

Entering is easy: Send a tweet to @pattinsononline with how you would like to spend the day with Rob in 140 characters or less. For example, this is Janna’s entry: “I would drive him around in my car, listening to Van Morrison & make him ask people for Grey Poupon at stoplights.” — This is a PG contest, which means keep your entries kid friendly!!!

If you’ve been hanging around twitter this week, you’ll know how proud we are of our exclusive interview with Rob! Summit invited us to the New Moon press junket on Friday, and Janna was lucky enough to speak with him one-on-one. Unfortunately the talk was quite short due to time constraints at the junket, but Rob was unbelievably gracious and gave us a wonderful interview. We were invited by Summit to take part of the Los Angeles New Moon press junket and were given an opportunity to interview Rob for a one on one. We realised that we have been all over Twitter and our Live Pattycast this morning with it – but we had yet to make a front page post regarding this fabulous news! Below are a few teaser stills of the interview – keep in mind the stills are raw footage that’s yet to be cleaned and edited! The video should be ready very soon with the recording of the live Pattycast to follow after.

In celebration of reaching 7,000 followers on our twitter (and in celebration of our interview with Rob!), we’re having a contest!

When Janna spoke with Rob today, he said “he wants to work more with the site and said something about writing Haikus or something to give back.” We love sarcastic Rob, and we love haikus! So your mission is to write a haiku and tweet it to @pattinsononline! Your haiku can be about the site, about Rob, written from Rob’s point of view, whatever! We’ll pick our favorite and the winner will receive a giant magnet (that’s right) with scenes from Goblet of Fire on it!

Rumoured Appearances Are Just Speculation

We have received countless emails from fans asking to confirm rumours of supposed Rob appearances – including those of a fan meet-up in Japan as well as TV appearances. In response to our inquiry, Rob’s management has this to say:

Robert’s schedule has not been set, so any rumors of appearances are only speculation for now.

As always, we encourage readers to search out the original source of such rumours in order to help curb their spread.

If you love the Twilight Lexicon ladies, as much as we do, you might be interested to know that they are throwing a Movie Event in Salt Lake City, Utah! It’s on the Saturday morning of the New Moon opening weekend! Of course, since they are fabulous and classy, your $25 event fee includes:
