Why do I need to pay to access parts of your site?
We started the Members Only section as a solution to our financial needs at Pattinson Online. As our site grows, so do our bills. We spend hundreds of dollars each month just to keep the site running, and we can no longer afford to do it out of our own pockets. Many of our visitors wanted to help, so we decided to offer them something in return – exclusive access to the best parts of the site!

What do you do with the money you make from memberships?
Pattinson Online is entirely non-profit. All of the money made from memberships (and advertisting, etc.) goes directly back into the site, enabling us to make it bigger and better for you, the fans!

What should I expect from the registration process?
The membership registration process is fairly simple:
1. Register your information with us. Choose a username and password.
2. Receive an email saying that your registration has gone through.
3. Purchase your desired package using Google Checkout (or send a money order).
**IMPORTANT! When using Google Checkout, please register with the SAME EMAIL ADDRESS you used on our registration form.**
4. Receive an invoice for your purchase from Google Checkout.
5. Within 48 hours, receive an email with your login information and instructions for how to use it. (You will not receive this email until you have registered AND paid.)

Is my information secure?
Yes! We will never share your information with anyone. You are 100% safe with us.

What is Google Checkout? Is it safe?
Google Checkout is very similar to PayPal and other money-transfer sites. You input your information and Google sends money from your credit card directly to our account, so we get your payment right away. Your information is completely safe and secure using Google Checkout, and we never see your credit card information ourselves.

Why does my Google Checkout invoice mention shipping?
You can ignore this, it is a part of Google Checkout’s settings and is unrelated to your membership.

I don’t have a credit card! Can I still become a member?
Of course! You can send the required payment via money order to the address listed on our payment page. Money orders can be purchased at your local bank or post office. Please get a tracking number and email it to us so we can process your membership. If you do not send a tracking number, you will have to wait until we receive your money order in the mail, which will take much longer.

It’s been 48 hours and I still haven’t received my login information!
If you have registered AND paid, and you still haven’t received your login information, please email us. Please allow us a full 48 hours to process your membership.

Why do I have to wait 48 hours for my login information?
At this time, we process all of our registrations manually. Depending on how many registrations come in during a single day, it can take a while to process them all. In most cases your registration will go through in less than 48 hours.

Do I need to create a separate account for the forum?
Yes. You will receive a login for the popup box, and then you will need to register on the actual forum in order to post. The media archive also has a registration option, but it is not necessary unless you would like to create favorites lists, etc.

I am trying to access the members only sections but I don’t see the popup!
Try clearing your cache, then closing and reopening your browser. Try this several times, and if the popup still doesn’t appear, email us with your username and we will try to help you as quickly as possible.

My password doesn’t work! What should I do?
Passwords are case sensitive. Make sure you have entered it exactly as it appears in your confirmation email. If you are sure you have entered it correctly, please email us with your username and we will try to help you as quickly as possible.

Can I share my login with someone else?
NO. This is a violation of the terms you agree to when you register with us. Your username and password are for your own personal use and are not to be shared with anyone else. Sharing login information eats up our bandwidth and causes problems with our servers. Please encourage your friends to purchase their own accounts. If you are caught sharing logins, your account will be permanently deleted.
