I think it’s great that so many people have started to understand that Rob is a person and not just a beautiful vampire… It makes me so sad to see pictures of him in all of today’s current magazines. If people actually looked at the pictures they would see the sadness in his eyes. I feel so bad for him and I just really wish that more people would understand that the type of behavior he is abused by on a daily basis is what causes this sadness. I have to admit that before Twilight I didn’t really know much about him, after he was cast I started to find out more and more and I have become a fan of more than just his acting I think his music is wonderful and I have to say that I enjoy that more than the movie Twilight. I wish that more people would jump on the Taylor band wagon and start to leave Rob alone. These little girls and some grown women that maul him in the streets don’t seem to have a true mindset in reality. I can’t see him ever becoming involved with one of these crazy women and I don’t understand why so many of them think that if they get his attention he is going to fall in love… If any of these people were truly his fans they would show him some respect and try to let him live his life the way he seems to want to live it, Privately!! Thank you for a place that I can keep up with whats going on with Rob without being bombarded with insane stories about who he is supposed to be sleeping with this week. ~Catharine

Okay I know this sound’s crazy but I think that Rob’s true fans should have a big protest on the streets of New York. They should make banners and also Projest F.L.A.N.S. banners saying LEAVE ROB ALONE. Also the protesters should stand away from the set and gave Rob some space. Loudspaeakers and mics are perfect to let people and crazy fan girls about how unfair it is.I also don’t live in New York or America and I always go on the internet and theres always some picture of Rob or an un true rumor which sounds stupid. I love Rob and I would go crazy if I met him, but I would not destroy or embarrass him, he is a talented actor and very good looking. Great personailty and well brought up. America is a lovely country, but sadly there is alot of crazy people on the internet and on the streets who want to make one famous man feel like shit. The protest would be an awesome idea, but unfortunatly it would embrass Rob and it would annoy the workers on set. This project is really good and I’m glad that I’m not the only one who thinks Rob needs a break and a life… ~Kenza

I live in Santa Barbara CA and every time I hear about Rob being in L.A. for an event or just being spotted, I want to leave work, jump in my car and find him…. okay, I’ll admit that I sound crazy. I DON’T DO IT, I only want to. If I can control these urges, I believe that others can also. SO THEY SHOULD!!! We can be REAL FANS, we can admire, lust after, think of, dream of, and SUPPORT Rob without being totally insane and driving him to near death experiences. I know we (fans and those claiming to be fans) can make this an enjoyable experience for Rob. Don’t we want him to stick around? Don’t we want him to give us more? I know I do. How dare people think that being stalked and almost dying “comes with the job” and “should be expected”. Robert Pattinson, other actors, and entertainers do not agree to give up their human rights when choosing their craft. ~Jade

First of all these two words you need to hear THANK YOU! You don’t know how many countless celebrities have gone through this term called stalking. It’s so refreshing to see a pure, and genuine Robert Pattinson fan site that isn’t full of paparazzi photos and/or videos. It would tear a real Rob fans heart out to see what this guy goes through everyday, walking simply out on the street to get something to eat or just trying to film a movie scene is like a 20-minute thing. When I logged onto your site about two months ago and saw this separate site you created for Rob I was absolutely amazed. I wanted to do anything I could to help this obvious suffering actor out. What people don’t understand is that if we back off and give the guy room when he walks by we will see more smiles, more laughs, and just plain more of the fun Rob we saw last year. This guy has been known to be a genuine sweetheart and the world needs to know that, not know that this is the celebrity who ignores any fan within a 5 mile radius; he has good reason to. I would feel completely vulnerable if I walked down the street and had countless fans following behind me or putting love letters in my car’s door handles. It has gotten way too out of hand and it’s great to see that someone is doing something about it. It’s very creative and very ingenious and just plain awesome to see! I really do appreciate all the hard work Rob is putting in for us. His hectic schedule cannot be fun, plus the media attention. This guy deserves to be glum, without every single reporter or fan analyzing his every move or his every piece of clothing he is a human just like us after all. It’s sad to go on certain websites and see the comments being made. He is deserving enough to have true fans who don’t want his autograph, a hug, or a picture when he walks by. He just needs to have fans that do the little things without him knowing to keep the actor going. Which is exaactly what is happening here with project F.L.A.N.S, and I am proud to say I have been doing my part in po sting on some famous Rob and New Moon sites spreading the word about this project. I am supporting this cause on twitter and am loving the backgrounds and banners that have been made for this cause. Again thank you so much it is great to see something like this happening for a guy like Rob, because we love him :) ~Jenna

Well done. If this is the only way for “fans” to learn how to respect a person – any person, whether
they’re an actor or a singer or myself, then it should be done. You guys created a wonderful project
with an important message. I think that this isn’t just about Robert, it’s about us, the fans of whoever and
whatever, and on the other side, the people (so-called fans) who just don’t get it. They don’t see the
difference between what they think is right, what they think is normal, and the way that affects other
people’s lives. What does it give you, when you go stalk your favorite ’star’, touch their hand, make them look at you, take a picture together, if the way you do that and the way you show your love (or more like,
admiration) for them is disrespectful and insulting? And then, if they turn out to be less perfect than
you’d expect (oh no, he smokes!), you have to demonstrate your care for them by criticizing, analizing,
and stalking even more? We’re all people, we’re all different, yet so alike! Different because we have diverse talents, ways of living and thinking, one is an actor the other a designer and another is a professor, others only dream for now. Alike because we all have the same human needs – privacy and freedom, for example. So again, congrats on spreading this message, and hopefully it will make a noticeable change. ~Lily

First of all, I wanted to say I love your site and I am always checking it almost everyday and listen to your podcast all the time. :) Like you guys I’ve been a fan of Rob before the whole twilight fiasco came around. I’ve also started taking your advice to start flipping over magazines in stores, and so far I have not had complaints by workers, but more encouragement! I’ve seen that people who really do care about other peoples’ privacy and that they are just humans themselves. I just don’t understand why people buy the tabloids garbage when I’m pretty sure they know very well that they only stretch the truth and most likely make what people say sound totally different to what they ment. People complain about paparazzi ruining people social lives but yet still buy the magazines. Can I say hypocrite? Your only feeding the fire. Plus, the ’stalking’ i can talk for hours about this but, why dont people put themselves in celebs’ shoes and think how would you feel having mobs of people following you and having your picture taking every minute of the day without having privacy EVER! You may call yourselves fans but I just see you guys as creeps who have nothing better to do then follow someone around trying to get a picture of them. I just wanted to say I was relieved when F.L.A.N.S. started up and that there were others like me who want this to just stop. Congrats, on being one of the few who have encouraged to have people take a stand against this , and keep it up! No matter what we can know that its made a difference on people look at the situation. ~Autumn

First off, I wanted to thank you for this site. You guys provide awesome information about Rob, while doing it tastefully. I love the fact that you don’t use paparazzi pictures. I also love the Pattycast. I think you guys are hilarious and just wanted to say “you go girls!” (: Another thing I wanted to thank you for is changing the way I look at Rob and the crazy fans. I hate to admit it, but I think I used to be one of those crazed stalker fans until I started listening to the Pattycast. You guys really made me take a step back and think about the line between being a fan and being a stalker. Before the Pattycast, I probably wouldn’t think twice about going up to Rob on the street or restaurant and asking for an autograph. But you guys have definitely changed my mind. I now understand that Robert is still a person. I think it is ridiculous how Robert can be hit by a cab, but the stalker fans are still stalking. I don’t think they can even call themselves fans, because if you were really a fan of Robert, you’d understand that he is a person, and not just an outlet to express your crazy ways on. I can’t wait until people start taking your advice and just leave the poor guy alone. Sorry for the length of my comments, but I really appreciate what you guys are doing and I just wanted to say thanks for making me take a step back and pay attention. ~Allyson

wow f.l.a.n.s is a really good idea! Sometimes it just annoys me that fangirls can stoop that low, I mean what must rob think? I love twilight and yeah the character Edward Cullen, but people have to remember rob isn’t Edward Cullen and he probably doesn’t appreciate the screaming and the throwing-yourself-on-top-of-him-thing. If I ever saw rob I would just smile and walk on, im sure he has enough hassle without me begging him to sign my fore-head lol! ~Helen

I know this seems kinda stupid, but I wanted to say Thank you to you guys, for coming up with this awesome F.L.A.N.S site. Its a Brilliant idea. I am seeing what happens to Robert on a daily basis, an no I do not know him personally. But its fair to say that he is being treated like a piece of meat, and I know that we all have fantasies that include Robert, but I think that we all know that there is more to Robert then meets the eye. I haven’t once meat him and I honestly don’t think I will. But I do know in my heart that he is one of those Truely good guys. So thank you again for coming up with this. I wanted to tell you that I placed one of your banners up on my livejournal as well as a link. I also wrote something else out. I just wanted to let you all know that I have found you guys. I am really glad there are other people out there like myself that see whats happening to Robert and want to stop it. ~Dellena

I must confess that I was flipping thru’ some of those crappy rags for a spell but have come to my own realisation that they are full of BS and totally not credible….the recent ‘pregnancy’ rumours were the final straw for me and I’ve stopped looking at them altogether. And also discouraged my friends from looking at or believing them too. Honestly, I say a little prayer for Rob everyday, that he’ll maintain his sanity and values in the midst of all the mayhem around him, as I really would like to see more good performances from him for many years to come AND that he goes on to have a full and happy life with whoever he chooses! Keep up the good work! The true Rob fans are behind you all the way!! ~Jan

I’m an ex-professional ballet dancer, so I’ve always been very interested in all kinds of performing arts, including the people behind it all. It’s part of what makes me tick. I love it! So, I’m a huge fan…of all artists. I’m also very fortunate to know an A-list actress in Tinseltown. On one of her visits here, a bunch of us “old school buddies” got together and of course we “caught up”. Her “life” was the centre of attention (obviously) and what an amazing life it is. But it is also a “life” that takes a very strong, special individual who can endure the trauma of having their entire life “spread-eagle”. They (celebrities) endure a lot. I think that was what stuck with me the most (besides the fact, that she was still herself…amazing!!). People are so interested in their lives that they’d go to any extremes to find out what makes them tick? It becomes very daunting for them…the Pap’s, the cameras, the fans. I mean it’s one thing when it’s part of the job (filming, premiers, promotions, etc.)…it’s another thing when their trying to have a holiday, or walking their dogs, or having a cup of coffee with a friend. They are HUMAN, they have up’s and down’s, they have good days and bad days. It is a disgrace that there are certain “Pap’s” who use those emotions to provoke a reaction. They actually stand there, camera in hand, screaming profanities and insults at them to provoke a reaction. They will do anything for a scoop. I, personally, think it is disgusting. (Please keep in mind that this e-mail is completely my own opinion and observation! I am not “a source close to the actress says…” in fact, I have no contact with her at all anymore) Besides those “animals”, they still have to contend with “fans”. I might be wrong, but I know I would not like to be pushed, shoved, grabbed, poked…even on a good day. Celebrities get nailed for everything…so treat a fan who is out of control with a little bit of apathy…IT’S FRONT PAGE NEWS! Where I’m from, we get the movies, books, cd’s, dvd’s, even celebrity news etc. later than the rest of the world. I love the Twilight series. New Moon (Movie) will probably only hit our shores a month or so after the rest of the world (some sympathy please). So I do tend to scan the internet for updates. I don’t believe anything I read, unless it’s confirmed. I think Catherine Hardwicke did an incredible job and so did everyone involved with the Twilight movie. It was inevitable for the actors/actresses to rocket to fame with such “emotional” books as the “ground worx” of the movies. I don’t think there are many that can claim they didn’t relate to it in some way. So it disturbs me when I see “the fans” grabbing and pulling and hanging on such an integral part of what made the movie so special. Did any “fans” look at his face?…I was in pain for his part. Give the poor guy a break! He deserves so much more. Sure he’s good looking but please…that borders on psychotic. I would much rather have Robert Pattinson grace our movie screens for the next 30, 40, 50 years, than see him crack under the PRESS….ure and fall from grace (need I name names?). So if the big screen is all that I can have of him….I’LL TAKE IT! Besides, he does it so well! Thank you for the petition! I really think that if more people are “informed” and made aware of the unnecessary PRESS….ure! True fans will back off! Robert Pattinson (it seems) is so humble, I’d hate to see it disappear. I’ll definitely be watching your space…it’s much more official and I’m a fan! ~Leandre

Thank you for establishing F.L.A.N.S. I am a huge Robert Pattinson fan living in Australia, and have been extremely concerned at the fan behaviour in New York. I was also a fan of the incredibly talented, and
departed, Heath Ledger, and I have myself drawing comparisons to him and Robert Pattinson. Robert Pattinsons performances remind me of Heath Ledger in that they seem completely fearless, and he appears so
immersed in his characters.Robert, also like Ledger, appears very uncomfortable with screaming fans, who want to a piece of him, any piece the can get their hands on…. Lately I had found myself looking at sites like Popsugar constantly. Recently I was disgusted at the paparazzi, and fan invasion on the set of Remember Me. It took some time to admit to myself that I was just as bad as those people, the paparazzi arejust responding to demand, demand fueled by gossip sites and trashy mags – demand that I was fueling by visiting these sites, and reading these mags. After seeing the photos of Rob with his head in his hands I actually felt sick. I decided to stick to robert-pattinson.org because of your anti-paparazzi stance, and boycott the mags, but I was somewhat depressed because I thought I am just one person. I was genuinely
relieved to see the post outlining F.L.A.N.S., everything about Rob seems to be gaining so much momentum, you start worrying, “is he going to burnout”, “quit acting all together, and basically drop off the face
of the earth”. It would scare the crap out of me to see waves of people surging at me, I feel nothing but empathy when he says he feels like crying when everyone starts screaming. If you are a real Robert Pattinson fan, I think we have to think what is the best behaviour to s
