FAQ
What is a podcast?
Wikipedia has a great explanation of podcasting here.
Do I have to pay for your podcasts?
Nope! They’re 100% free!
How do I download your podcasts?
You can download the episodes in several ways. You can subscribe to our feed through iTunes or other podcasting sites, or you can download the episode directly from our site.
Do I need an iPod to listen to your podcasts?
All of our episodes are in .mp3 format, so you can listen to them on any .mp3 player or right from your computer!
How do you make your podcasts?
Making each episode is a long process! First, one of us gathers the news and information we want to discuss and puts it all together in the shownotes for everyone to read. Once we decide on a date and time (coordinating different time zones can be tricky!), we use Skype and PowerGramo to record our conversation. We usually record for about 2-3 hours, and then Joy spends about 8 hours editing so that you get a wonderful episode without all of our ramblings!
What do you talk about on your podcasts?
Rob, Rob, Rob! We start off with discussing the latest news about his films, plus recent interviews and articles. We have some regular segments that appear from week to week, including the Featured Song, Favorite Rob Quotes, the Tom Sturridge Reference of the Day, and our favorite segment of all: the Soapbox, where we sound off about issues in the fandom. We usually finish up with some site announcements, and then (if you stick around) you get some hilarious outtakes from our recordings session!
I have another question that wasn’t answered here.
