I thought of Nero fiddling when Rome burned and Bella running around all over the place making her worse case plans and Edward playing the piano, But I recall that we don't get into Edward's head and I wish there was a MIDNIGHT version so that we see Edward's thoughts. Truthfully, I expected the Cullens to die as a release from immortality and for Jacob and the baby girl to start over in South America.
