“Extra’s” Lauren Sanchez caught up with “Twilight” heartthrob Robert Pattinson, who told us the interesting way he one day plans to pop the question… “With a prenup right next to you,” he joked.

Pattinson, whose “Twilight” character Edward Cullen will be taking a trip down the aisle with Bella, also said he wouldn’t get down on one knee to propose.

“Something about kneeling down, because I had to kneel down so much in the ‘Twilight’ movies and it always looks really awkward. I’ve actually got quite long thighs and it doesn’t work,” RPattz said. To read the full article click on [read more]

Man #1: Alright guys. Rob.

Rob: Hey guys, how are you?

[Various greetings from audience]

Man #1: We’ll start right here up in front.

Woman #1: Rob, can you tell us if you had to learn something new for this one? You seem to always learn something new for each one.

Rob: Um, what did I have to learn? I guess I had to learn how to run properly, instead of like—in the last two, I’ve always run with a kind of limp slash skip and I had to sort of look like I could run more solidly this time, so I spent a lot of time on a giant treadmill; like a kind of—like one of those wheels that mice run around in and got filmed doing it to improve my form. [Laughs] I guess that was one of the big things.

Man #2: Hi, last time I’m going to ask this; I asked it to all of your co-stars; what drives you to succeed, and what kind of car do you drive?

Rob: I guess [pauses] probably fear of failure. [laughs] And inadequacy complex. And what do I drive—I drive—I just drive rental cars. So I just drive different things; I don’t have a car. Well, my car—

Man #2: The role is—he’s considered a romantic hero , but he’s also seen as a very flawed kind of person, he’s very possessive. Can you talk a little bit about what you think halfway through playing Edward, at this point? Has he changed?

Rob: Yeah. I mean his flaws, I think, in the first two movies—otherwise just earlier on in the story—were just caused by his sort of dislocation from reality, and so when he finds one thing to hold onto he just—you know, that’s where the possessiveness comes from. And I think, as the series goes on, he accepts more and more that his part of the contemporary world. And I think all the things that were deemed to be ‘flaws’ before start fading away. I mean, that’s how I’m trying to play it. I think he’s coming out of his shell a bit in Eclipse. So hopefully by the end of Breaking Dawn, it’s kind of—hopefully he’ll be a—basically just a normal seventeen-year-old guy, just a little bit pale.

Rob is busy, busy today in LA! He is scheduled to do the Eclipse press junket this morning with a half an hour panel to himself. Panels are reported to begin at 10:30 with Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart going before him.

Twitour panel is this evening, scheduled to start at 7pm PST and to last until 7:40pm PST.
