In the media lately it has been known that Reese Witherspoon is blown away by co-star Robert Pattinson’s popularity: “I think all I can do is stand back and sort of watch it happen because I’m not used to seeing somebody have so many fans”. One of these fans is Starlight wish girl, Samantha.
Not only was Friday 6th May Starlight Day it was also a VERY special day for Samantha as she was granted her Starlight wish. Whilst over 3,000 people turned up to get only a glimpse of the Twilight star, Robert Pattinson, Samantha got to meet him in person. She was the envy of every young fan meeting Robert at his hotel in Sydney. She also got to go down the red carpet for the movie premiere of ‘Water for Elephants’.

Robert Singing Live Songs For A Room
An impromptu performance by Robert Pattinson at a past London ‘Songs From a Room’ secret living room gig. One of the many ‘Sofarsounds’ events that showcase new artists and give musicians a chance to be heard in an intimate setting. Sofarsounds have recently launched their ‘Kickstarter’ donations appeal to give fans a unique way of supporting new artists and become part of their international movement.

‘Water For Elephants’ Tops Australian Box Office
‘Water For Elephants’ shows real promise by topping Australia’s Box Office. Due to it having great reviews, and the huge promotion during it’s premiere visit to Australia.
Australian audiences flocked to see Twilight star Robert Pattinson’s romantic period drama Water for Elephants over the weekend, keeping Australian star Chris Hemsworth from hammering out a number one spot for Thor.
The $2.6 million in ticket sales for Water for Elephants also drove Fast and Furious 5 out of the top spot at the box office, dropping to a non-podium fourth placing behind Source Code, which was steady in the number three position.
The Kate Hudson/Ginnifer Goodwin romantic comedy Something Borrowed slipped one place to number five, while the animated Little Red Riding Hood sequel Hoodwinked Too! gained one place to number six.
In their first week out the Rose Byrne horror movie Insidious and the James Franco comedy Your Highness debuted at number six and seven respectively, while the modern remake of Arthur continues to slide out of the top ten, rounded out by animation Rio.Top 10 at the Australian box office this weekend:

WFE Actor Speaks About Robert
‘Water For Elephants’ actor, Scott MacDonald speaks about Robert in a new article about the film.
Scott MacDonald grew up watching movies in the Dome Theater and later this month a film in which he stars in will be shown at that same theater.
MacDonald plays Blackie in the film “Water for Elephants
He says “Twilight” star Pattinson is a genuinely great guy.
MacDonald gets in a number of fights with Pattinson in the film and says both of them were pretty bruised up, but Pattinson didn’t complain once.
