We are dying to see Eclipse. Tell us, what was filming the movie like?
Kristen: We had a lot of time to prepare for it. Luckily, the budget is bigger as well. It’s amazing seeing the final product on the screen.
Rob: The fans are really going to enjoy this one.
Taylor: It’s a lot more intense. We loved what we’ve seen of it. [read more]
Robert Pattinson relived what it was like to film a fight scene with a woman (Bryce Dallas Howard, who plays vampire Victoria). “Bryce is the most gentle, kind-hearted person ever. She really wasn’t hitting me very hard at all,” vouched R-Patz. The actor answered more of our readers’ questions about working with director David Slade, Edward’s wide emotional spectrum, and revealed which movie he was obsessed with as a kid.
Rob was recently interviewed by Sorrisi e Canzoni. In the interview he talks about soccer/football, the Gulf oil spill disaster, politics, and, of course, he’s asked whether or not he’s dating someone. Read it below!
Have you ever seen a soccer fan vampire?
Four bodyguards, a frisk and, obviously, cellphone confiscation. If I had forgotten Robert Pattinson’s every girls in the world’s idol, his security service would had been there to remind me so. Fortunately, he seems less cold and strict than what he’s got around. With Eclipse, he’s in Edward Cullen shoes for the third time. In this next to last movie of the Twilight Saga, we can find as many fights as one could see in a real action movie and new love issues for the female main character: Bella (Kristen Stewart) has to choose between the vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) and the werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner). Even if in the real life, she knows exactly who to choose: some behind-the-scene rumors have she and Pattinson are dating. Pattinson, anyway, stars surprisingly saying: “It hasn’t been very good, but you’ve got it”
Last week during all of the press conferences and interviews that Rob had to attend, England was playing the USA in the World Cup. Here’s what Rob had to say about it behind the scenes:
“I have to ask you, how are you doing this junket when England is playing USA?” Shaun asked Robert on Saturday as he promoted his upcoming film while the historic match up was taking place.
“Especially when they are drawing,” Robert chimed in, referring to the score at the time, which was 1-1.
“And if at the end, if the end comes and they’ve won then that’s the end of the junket,” a worried Robert said over a possible U.S. victory, although the game eventually ended a short while later in a draw.
“Are you a big fan?” Shaun asked Robert regarding soccer.
“Yeah. Is it the end of the match yet?” Robert asked, looking around at the crew. “Have they already lost? I would be so depressed!

Due to the Laker parade on Figueroa Boulevard on June 21st, some streets around L.A. LIVE will be closed from 4:00am - 12:00pm, so please access L.A. LIVE via Olympic Boulevard. If you require parking, we recommend Lot 1, which opens at 5:30 AM and can be accessed from Cherry Street, or any other adjacent lots. Lot W and Lot C are NOT available for fan parking. Security check points around L.A. LIVE on the 21st are designed to only allow TWILIGHT Fans access to the NOKIA Plaza for camping set up. No parade attendees will be permitted on the NOKIA campus; only Twilight fans will be given access.

DESPITE the best efforts of Summit Entertainment’s publicity team, which has a third “Twilight” movie to promote, it took more than a month to corral the heartthrob star of the franchise for an interview. Robert Pattinson, various handlers explained, was at the mercy of a chaotic shooting schedule for “Water for Elephants,” his biggest non-“Twilight” picture to date.
Fair enough. A guy’s got to work. But Mr. Pattinson was also not particularly eager to chat for the quadrillionth time about Edward Cullen, the tenderhearted vampire he will reprise on June 30 in “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” When he was finally able to break away from the circus (the setting of “Water for Elephants,” not the throng of paparazzi and hyperventilating girls who trail him around), Mr. Pattinson seemed to have a bit of “Twilight” burnout.
“It can get a little boring,” he said softly over coffee at the Four Seasons hotel here, referring both to playing an unchanging vampire and to chewing over the Cultural Importance of It All. “The good news is that the whole thing is done in seven months.”
